There is a little magic in the way this dealership approaches business. We had visited this dealership at 5 times or more over 9 months as we explored purchasing a mini. We were not ignored (even when it was busy) but we were also left alone to explore until we were ready to talk to someone. The Mini's sell themselves (if you have a love for this type of car). No two cars are alike in features and having knowledgable sales staff was key in learning about the different features/packages. Love my new mini (we have two - a CooperS convertable and now the hardtop) - Mini-Me and Mini-Too. Don owned a Mini and could speak from personal experience. Tyler provided a great overview of the car - including the Mini-Connected system. We had a good understanding of the features before we left, but there was more to explore on our own. More

The only poor mark I can give is that the response to my financing request took so long. However, my credit union took just as long to process, so it's likely that this was due to my personal situation. I financing request took so long. It would have been nice if the finance team could have called me with updates, even if they didn't have one, though. Overall, my experience was very pleasant. I never felt pressured and new through research that I was getting a GREAT deal on the car! Don Bailey was wonderful to work with and made the experience more pleasant than I could have expected. Jennifer and Monica from the finance team were also very friendly and informative. More

I haven't experienced a worse customer service experience in my life. I went to the dealership on a pre-arranged test drive of a used Jeep and the salesman was terrible. he almost seemed offended that the sa in my life. I went to the dealership on a pre-arranged test drive of a used Jeep and the salesman was terrible. he almost seemed offended that the sales manager handed off a used car inquiry to him. He refused to have the used car manager review and price out my potential trade-in until after we test drove the car I was interested in as he thought it would be a waste of time for his staff if I didn't like the Jeep I was looking at. Throughout the test drive he was not able to answer any of my questions related to the vehicle I was test driving, to financing options, to other potential used vehicles on the lot. When we returned to the dealer to discuss a potential purchase, it was extremely difficult to move the process forward. When I told him I was no longer interested in working with him he proceeded to argue with me loudly as I walked out of the store. Furthermore, the sales manager was well aware of the issue and was less than proactive in solving the problem. When I told her I was not interested in dealing with Alex any longer or purchasing a car from them I expected she would call within 24-48 hours to at least discuss the issue - I never heard a word from them. I drove down the street and ended up buying a brand new Jeep one week later. More

We had a great experience at Ralph Schomp Mini Dealership last Thursday, July 22nd. We had taken our 2004 Mini in for service and ended up buying/driving home a brand new Clubman!!! Don Bailey is an except last Thursday, July 22nd. We had taken our 2004 Mini in for service and ended up buying/driving home a brand new Clubman!!! Don Bailey is an exceptional individual and was very helpful in making our purchase experience another good one. (Our 2004 Mini also came from Ralph Schomp) Don went above and beyond when it came to showing me all the fabulous features of my car. He assisted me with programming the XM Radio...and assisted me in getting my cell phone bluetooth connection activated. All these items saved me countless hours should I have had to do this on my own as a 'novice'. It didn't hurt, I suppose, that Don himself drives a Clubman!!! Denise Van Donkelaar More
