I went In for a recall.. they took my car right on time.. looked at to see it didn’t need the recall .. when they were done they washed the exterior and disinfected where they touched. Even though I have glass replacement on my auto insurance I was required to pay for the entire repair and then get reimbursed by my insurance. This means I am giving my insurance company a no interest short I was required to pay for the entire repair and then get reimbursed by my insurance. This means I am giving my insurance company a no interest short term loan. This is not how insurance is supposed to work. Secor's participation in this kind of program is disturbing. Also, I had to wait a week to get my broken windshield replaced. I've had windshields replaced by Secor's twice in the past and neither time was I required to pay up front or wait a week for the work to be performed with the car undriveable. I am filing a complaint with the Connecticut Attorney General's office. More
