Then the girl that helped me had no clue what the heck was even going on. I told her that I had an appointment and she looked the information up in the computer, proceeded to take my key and wrote all of my issues down on a sticky note. I asked if she needed my name and her response was “no it’s right there” and pointed to the computer. The next morning I tried to call and speak to someone in service because there was an issue that I had not address that I wanted looked at. Called and the receptionist transferred me to a voice mail that was not set up.There were multiple days of calling leaving voice mails for the service writer, service manager and finally the GM of the dealership with no call back. After 5 days it took my husband making a special trip to check status, and when he got there, there was a problem locating the vehicle and the girl could not figure out if the work had been completed. Unfortunately I feel like I was scammed into purchasing a dealership maintenance agreement for all services on my vehicle. The service department at this dealership is absolutely horrible. More

Took almost a week for a transmission service and washer repair. I was told that they would contact me and let me know what was going on. I was told the DEF sensor was re-learned and may not fix the problem and further diagnosis may be needed. I then took the vehicle to Seguin Chevy as it was considerably closer to my home and I provided a paper history of what my concern was. Vehicle was returned to me with the DEF issue still evident, and I was told no further action was needed. I never had a sense there was competent people servicing my vehicle. More
I left two vehicles to be fixed and both had less then a year old red top optima batteries. The first car was returned in a great time frame and with no battery issues as my Service Rep Mr. Dennis kept me u year old red top optima batteries. The first car was returned in a great time frame and with no battery issues as my Service Rep Mr. Dennis kept me updated and made sure I was aware as soon as it was ready for pickup. My second vehicle was waiting on parts to receive extensive work on and was expected to be a bit longer. However after a month I called back (never receiving any update or reached out to) and Mr. Dennis was no longer there and they didn't really know or seem to have my vehicle tracked for reaching out to me. After they tracked down my vehicle, it seemed to have been done for ahwhile already and it was said to be all in working order. It was picked up by my brother and died before reaching my residence. A Seguin patrol car and others had to assist in pushing him out of traffic into a parking lot and tried to jumpstart the car with no success. Brother had to call the dealer ship to send someone to jumpstart it in order to drive it back to the dealer. From those on scene first it was noted that the battery connectors were not fastened properly by the last person to handle the vehicle. This paired with the amount of time it may have sat waiting to be picked up and I wasn't alerted would have contributed in draining and damaging the battery that when I am taking care of it, has never failed me in such a short time. When they initially received my vehicle back they said the battery was good and they were going to keep the vehicle to see if there is any other reason it died. Next update I get after calling in again to have them return the call with an update it turns out the battery was damaged and would not hold a charge. So now I need to have my brother do the legwork to pick up the battery from the dealer, warranty swap it at AutoZone where I bought it, and take it back to the dealer to have the new one put in before it can be picked up. The amount of money I paid to have good work done on my car and yet such a simple mishandling of the battery was done which does have me question the quality of work done for the rest of the vehicle and if I will end up running into issues in less then a year for parts installed and or replaced do to rushed work. The evening we drove off in our truck we were told that the best offer came from RBFCU but we would need to open an account there. No problem, we opened one the next day and arrived at the dealership about the best offer came from RBFCU but we would need to open an account there. No problem, we opened one the next day and arrived at the dealership about 5:30 to sign the papers. We were told that the papers would be ready to sign upon our arrival. Over an hour and half later we still hadn't signed the papers. After asking and raised voices they finally presented the papers for us to sign 30 min later. This is now 2 hours after arrival. They highlighted where we were to sign and that's it. We signed and left. This was April 25. On or about May 1 we receive a letter from RBFCU that we had been denied a loan. We called and were told it was GMAC who financed us. So why did i open an accou t at RBFCU?!?!?!?! On May 9 my employer sent verification of employment. On May 17 GMAC was calling us asking for my employer to send verification of employment. May 17 we were reminded payment was due May 23. On May 18 I called asking for account info and would it be possible to move the payment due date to June 23? I was told no. The dealership decides when the first payment is due. I asked how is it we can be made to wait 2 hours at a dealership, have verification of employment lost, not received any information on where or how to pay the bill and be told sorry the bill is die when it's due??? I've never seen such poor customer service in my life!!!! We also are missing one of the owners manuals for the truck as the one that is in the glove box doesn't explain how to program the garage remote amongst other things. This is THE LAST time I will ever go to Seguin Chevrolet nor will I recommend this dealership to anyone. More
