It took us 10 to 11 hours to purchase a vehicle, and ,most of that time was spent waiting. We test drove a truck, but had to return the next day when a vehicle was located to negotiate pricing. Vehicle arrived the following day and we scheduled 4:00 pm to sign the papers and pick it up expecting no more than 2 hours tops. No, it was 9:00 pm before we left and we were starving as we missed our dinner plans. And there were no issues to be resolved. Just inefficiency! Then I had to come back on Monday due to a snafu. Listening to the finance manager mark down warranties gave me the feeling that Honda’s warranties are subpar as well. There is a better way than running down your brand. I bought an Acura a couple of months ago, and it was just over two hours for the entire process from walking on the lot to signing papers. Buying a vehicle shouldn’t take hours of hanging around the showroom. You have some great employees. Please Evaluate your processes so that your customers aren’t hanging out for hours to sign a few papers. It is frustrating for the buyer and reduces your referrals. More
