I've always been treated with respect, and they never mis-represent the repairs needed on my Volvo. The entire service team deserves commendation for the way they work together as a unit. I especially wish to commend Michael, Dennis, Dina, Doug, Regina, Tina and Tom individually. Their waiting area also has a relaxing Scandinavian atmosphere, and is well-supplied. Amazing delivery experience: XC40 This is the second part of my review. I had to wait for my XC40 for 4 to 5 months because of the scarce availability; it was not Smythe Volvo, everywh This is the second part of my review. I had to wait for my XC40 for 4 to 5 months because of the scarce availability; it was not Smythe Volvo, everywhere in US, there was no stock for XC40s. Back in July 2018 I placed an order with Smythe Volvo for my car and the first part of my review covers how my experience was during the order placement. Finally I got the call that I was waiting but not expecting :) Original delivery date was around end of December 2018, but one fine day I received a call from Deborah that car is on the way and can be delivered as early as mid November :) To make the transaction smooth on delivery date, Deborah made sure that she collected all the required documents over and email and all the lease related approvals were in place already when we arrived at the dealership. Signing the documents was done in 5-10 mins. This is my 3rd car buying in US and 5th in lifetime, and I must say, I've never experienced such smooth documentation signing process. Kudos to Kevin for that. Kevin also helped us understand and buy the maintenance plans that we can opt to ensure that we are covered for the scratches / dents and other wear and tear. Coming to the exciting part: Deborah had arranged for the car to be in the next room of the dealership where it was sort of "revealing" moment for us. Doors opened, we saw our car for the first time and instantly, both my wife and I were in love with the car. I had my fingers crossed regarding the exterior color and interior finish that I had selected, (because, XC40s were not in stock when we ordered it and we never saw how our car will look like), but after seeing how gorgeous the car looked, I was glad about the color choices we made. Deborah walked us around the car explaining and demonstrating all the features. Once the documents were signed, she brought the car in the lot and help us setup some settings to our preferences. She walked us though all the functionalities, buttons, tips to kick open the trunk right every time etc. I was surprised to see the amount of time she dedicated for us in explaining the features and how to make them work! She even offered to Facetime her if we have any questions about the car. Deborah also clicked some photos of ours with the car. We initially thought it was just for posting on Smythe's social media pages, but Deborah printed them and sent them via mail. My wife was so happy looking at the pictures, I guess a physical copy brings more joy than the digital one :) Deborah even helped me file for the personalized plates. I know that getting personalized plates for leased vehicles is slightly complicated process, but Deborah ensured that all the heavy lifting was done from dealerships side. Overall, I am happy with the car, technology works as advertised; "Pilot Assist" is my favorite feature. Smythe Volvo is great, my experience as customer buying the car was amazing. I highly recommend Smuthe Volvo, and I can't stop recommending Deborah as a sales person. In fact, in this car buying experience, she never came across as sales person, rather she was like a friend who was helping us with car buying experience :) All the best with your car buying process! Great friendly no pressure car leasing experience I just leased a 2019 XC90 from Symth Volvo. Eric was our sales rep and he was very helpful in finding our dream car. I wasn't sure what I am looking I just leased a 2019 XC90 from Symth Volvo. Eric was our sales rep and he was very helpful in finding our dream car. I wasn't sure what I am looking for and they priced multiple cars for me without any complaints. I was able to discuss everything over email and phone and the terms were as discussed on the email. At the dealership, Eric took the time to explain the car features and make sure it was ready for pickup. I was asked if I wanted a wear-tear warranty without any pressure to buy. I would definitely buy again from them and will recommend family and friends. More
