My Volvo xc60 was brought in for my 22,500 miles service. I didn't have to pay anything as my car is under the 5 year/60,000 free service agreement. I dropped off my car at 10:25am and was given a loaner right away. They asked me when I needed my car back and I said by 3pm. My car was ready by 3pm exactly and I was very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff. My only complaint is hat my car was not vacuumed or washed and anytime I ever went to Prestige Volvo with my old car, it was washed and vacuumed --every single time. This is the reason why I gave the rating I did. More

Kevin and Sean run a first class operation. they've treated my wife and i with friendliness, respect and integrity for over 15 years and 5 cars. they run a local dealership the way all car dealerships treated my wife and i with friendliness, respect and integrity for over 15 years and 5 cars. they run a local dealership the way all car dealerships should be, but unfortunatley aren't. there are many choices out there, but we keep coming back to Smythe ! Although my wife and I were quite disappointed that our brand new Volvo C-70 (less than 2600 miles) went dead and needed service, bringing it to Smythe Volvo turned out be a rewarding and excelent experien brand new Volvo C-70 (less than 2600 miles) went dead and needed service, bringing it to Smythe Volvo turned out be a rewarding and excelent experience. After the car died again just one day after Volvo On Call boosted and charged the battery, we knew it was something that needed attention. I immmediatly called Smythe Volvo and spoke with Sean Flanagan (Friday afternoon) regarding the possibility of bringing the car in early Saturday morning (the next day!). He gladly said he could squeeze me in and expressed his sadness and concern over the problem we were experiencing. I explained to him that we would contact Volvo On Call early Saturday morning and, once they had it running, I would drive it over (luckily, they are only 10 minutes away from my home). Volvo On Call arrived at my home a little after 8 a.m. and jump started the car. We agreed to leave it running for a few minutes before I drove it over. I drove to Smythe (completely uneventful) and it was riding very nice. Sean was only too happy to take the car in and attend to it almost immediately, apologizing once again. I waited in the customer's lounge while it was serviced and, in a short while, Sean said it was ready. He explained the problems and said Smythe was able to rewrite the software in the computer so this particular problem would not happen again. He also put in a brand new battery, since the old one had been discharged twice. At this time, Steve Sargent, my original salesperson, came over to inquire about the car (and me). We chatted for a while and he could not have been nicer nor more concerned. It should really be kept in mind that Smythe Volvo seems to be a small family and the people who lease or purchase their vehicles from them are treated as if they belong to that family. Friendliness, professionalism, courteousness are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind. They really do care about their product and the people who buy it. It just goes hand in hand with the dealership. Please feel free to contact me for anything additional or if unsolicited testimonials are ever needed. And let's just hope that the car runs as smoothly as Smythe does. Thank you for your time. Respectfully, Robert (and Donna) Zwillich More
We were greeted by staff when we went in for our initial visit and test drive. Tom was easy to talk to, knew the cars and took his time with us. We expressed interest in a few models and received booklet visit and test drive. Tom was easy to talk to, knew the cars and took his time with us. We expressed interest in a few models and received booklets, info and pricing for both. We were also introduced to Craig (sales manager) who welcomed us and offered his availability should there be anything else that we would need. Tom sent us email that evening to see if we had any further questions. He was prompt in getting back to me the next day. When we returned to the Dealership to make our purchase both Tom & Craig were available to help us. Tom located a car within the week and it came in the following week. Craig helped with the details in getting the car ready for us. On pick up day I first met with Steve to take care of the paperwork. Tom went through the information booklets, tag details, keys etc with me before taking me to my car to show me how to use the controls/functions. He was thorough and gave me as much time as I needed to feel comfortable in the car. The entire process from trade in, purchase, paperwork and pick up went smoothly and was an overall positive experience. Everyone was pleasant, accommodating and very professional. More

After running over a piece of metal on the NJ Turnpike on Labor Day, I had my car towed to Smythe Volvo dealership in Summit. Since it was a holiday, the service center was closed. The next day, I called S Labor Day, I had my car towed to Smythe Volvo dealership in Summit. Since it was a holiday, the service center was closed. The next day, I called Smyth Volvo and spoke with Nick who was to work on my car. Although he was extremely busy being the day after Labor Day, he was able to replace my tire that day and I was able to pick up my car that night. I was extremly greatful that he was able to fit me in otherwise I might have had to wait a few days. In addition, I failed to mention to Nick that I had Premier Tire & Service package on my car where as all damages to my tires would be covered. I wasn't aware that I needed to submit a claim and gain approval prior to work being done on my car. Nick was extremely helpful and responded timely when working with the company who provided the tire service package. Nick proactively followed-up with them to ensure that I received a reimbursement for the tire replacement. He was professional and great to work with. I will definitley be bringing my Volvo back to Smythe Volvo for future service visits. More
Nick was great -- nice guy, and terrific service. My wife and I have already decided that our next car will also be a Volvo from Smythe. My wife was stranded with a flat tire on the way to the Doctor's office and pulled into Smythe. They let her leave her car there, and she walked to the Doctor's. While she was gone, Smythe removed the flat Doctor's office and pulled into Smythe. They let her leave her car there, and she walked to the Doctor's. While she was gone, Smythe removed the flat and installed the spare at no charge. Many thanks to Nick Pavano and Brad Merchant. Their efforts really demonstrated the people-oriented attributes of a true "neighborhood" dealership. More
My 11 y.o. Volvo with low mileage was having transmission problems and we dropped it off when it appeared that there might be something serious going on (lots of clunking sounds, etc.) Nick was very helpful problems and we dropped it off when it appeared that there might be something serious going on (lots of clunking sounds, etc.) Nick was very helpful but did say that you were backed up and it might be a few days before you would get to it. Every phone call we made during the three days was returned promptly, we were apprised of the car's problems in a thorough and detailed way and when we picked it up all work was reviewed. After one particular phone conversation Nick had with both my husband and myself I commented to my husband that despite the extensive work needed I felt very comfortable with the professionalism and extent of knowledge Nick displayed. In fact, as we walked through the service area yesterday I remember thinking that the whole place looked like a "hospital"--clean (despite the type of work being carried on) and well lit. We have always found our experiences at Smythe to be pleasant and professional. More
