Two wagons that I used ferrying around our sons ended up being their first cars. All but two wagons were purchased new and exceeded expectations. The two used vehicles were prior Smythe sold and serviced cars and exceeded expectations as well. Smythe Volvo is a great family dealership that has taken care of our family's vehicle and service needs. I recommend them most highly without reservation. More

Another awesome experience Due to my work schedule needed a Sat appointment. Hated to get up early so Doug suggested I drop off my car on Friday night. Over the top service Over he Memorial Day Weekend, my daughter got some bad gasoline. Unable to reach me, she called Doug's cell phone. On a Sunday during a holiday weekend he dropped everything to find a tow truck in the area that picked up my Daughter and her car and took her to Smythe in Summit, NJ. They even prepaid the Tow Truck and added to my bill. More

I have never been treated so poorly Warning service lights went on in my car saying things such as "charge failure" "transmission performance low" and "service urgent." I called several times to get someone to check my xc60 out to make sure it was safe to drive, even though a service appointment was not available until the end of the week. I was told that there was absolutely no time for anyone to check. The schedule was "completely booked." In addition, I was told that it was not certain whether my car should be driven without being looked at and no loaner cars were available at all. What is a mom to do? I drive a Volvo for its safety reputation and did not feel comfortable putting my 2 year old son in the car. I serviced my car elsewhere and never heard back from the manager for whom I left a voicemail. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated and won't give my business to Smythe when my lease ends. More

Great Service Experience! I meant to write this review last week, but my grandchildren were with us and I couldn't find a free moment! This visit was extensive because of a fr I meant to write this review last week, but my grandchildren were with us and I couldn't find a free moment! This visit was extensive because of a front end rattle and a discharging battery. Nick Pavano diagnosed both problems and found cost effective solutions to the battery problem and front end rattle. We certainly appreciated his friendly and efficient way of handling this service. We also appreciate the loaner car that we used while our car was in the shop Smythe Volvo Service and Nick Pavano have always exceeded our expectations. Thank you all for a job well done! More
