Marco, You stated that our sales team was not interested in finalizing the deal. This can not be the furthest from the truth, we sometimes get over zealous in our attempts to finalize a deal. Our livelihood depends on finalizing deals. It's unfortunate that you took to a public forum to link your experience with South Bay BMW, a dealer with that of the decision of the bank (BMW Financial) in regards to your financing. Although you state that you were flexible with the down payment, it was not enough to secure the financing through BMW Financial and for this you proceed to blame South Bay BMW and the sales experience. We have no control over the bank and it's advance policy. Sometimes when customer don't get their way, it's easy to call it a bad experience. We provided, above market trade in value for your vehicle, discounted our vehicle to below market all in the interest of finalizing a deal. The fact that the bank would not approve the finance structure that you wanted is no indication of our willingness to finalize a deal. Thank you for your response. However, I need to clarify a few important points. You mentioned that BMW Financial refused the financing, but I was never provided with any proof of this. My current loan is already with BMW Financial, and despite having negative equity, I have continued making my payments. In fact, for this deal, I offered to pay $7,000—and even agreed to increase it to $10,000. That would bring the total financed amount to $73,000, which is the same as my current loan. From my perspective, there should have been no issue. My complaint is not only about financing—it is about the poor customer service I experienced at your dealership. As a serious customer, when I visit a dealership, it is always with the intention of completing a deal, not wasting time. Unfortunately, I felt that I was not treated with respect, and that my concerns and flexibility were not valued. All I expect is to be treated fairly and with the level of professionalism that BMW represents.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, I had yet another disappointing experience with South Bay BMW. I am sharing this update as part of my ongoing complaint, which I intend to escalate until it reaches the highest level of BMW Corporate. That morning, I contacted a sales representative, Alex Chavez, to inform him that I was ready to move forward with a trade-in and willing to pay $10,000 toward my negative equity. This payment would allow the new loan to remain at the same amount as my current loan, $73,000, with BMW Financial. To clarify for anyone reviewing this, the transaction was meant to close out my existing loan and open a new loan with BMW Financial for the same amount. Despite my repeated follow-ups via text and email from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM, I received no response. When I finally called again, I was met with complete disregard. Mr. Chavez spoke in a dismissive manner, and when I pointed out that I believed the issue was not with BMW Financial but with the dealership, his response was, “I don’t care what you think,” followed by laughter. Shockingly, he then placed me on speakerphone so others could listen. This behavior is highly unprofessional, unacceptable, and damaging to BMW’s reputation. The sales staff at South Bay BMW consistently demonstrate a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect toward customers. I strongly urge BMW Corporate and dealership ownership to take immediate action. A brand of BMW’s stature must ensure that its representatives reflect the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and customer care.

Actually, I have never seen a BMW dealership that doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. South Bay BMW has the worst sales service, and I don’t understand how their managers can ignore customer complaints.

Last update to let everybody know that south bay bmw dealership are liars and they not a good sales and not professional at al They refused to give me X7 2022 by $10k down and said BMW bank refused which is completely wrong information from them I got X7 2023 fully loaded and less mileage by $8k with BMW bank I wrote this to let everybody know that south bay dealership are completely sucks and nobody there like to keep customers satisfied Please everyone keep yourself away from that dealership and any dealership related to them under the same owner I think the owner teach them how to let customers not to be satisfied and as much as you can take money from customers instead of loan from BMW bank They need to take as much as they can money from customers for them and for dealership I already report all that to BMW corporate and and i am following also with BB corporate
