I was hoping to have a good experience with Hyandai and this dealership. Sadly I did not get it. The exact car I bought I saw on my first visit for 14,950 and 3 days later it was priced at $15,550. I was considering buying on my first visit but had to leave to catch a bus .Salesman said manager won't lower the price, no matter how much I asked for the price 3 days previously. No owner's manual or Sirius radio guide came with the car. The car still had 2 years left on factory warranty but finance manage said factory warranty expired so I felt pressured to buy the extended warranty. The warranty I bought was gold even though I believed it was platinum. Salesman did not show me how to use the radio. I later called salesman, with no response, a few times for owners manual and advise on how to use Sirius radio. I told salesman my birthday was recently and it would be nice to give me a good birthday memory of South Bay Hyandai, but my memory is not a good one for SB Hyandai. My family and friends asked how I liked my car buying experience because some will soon be in the market for a car, I told them they likely will not enjoy buying a car at SB Hyandai. So sad because I could not share good feelings about this dealership. All I asked for is a fairer price and the platinum warranty and how to use the car radio and then my experience would have been wonderful and my review would have been a good one and my friends would be checking out SB Hyandai as part of their next car search. i came here last Saturday to purchase a GV80. He offered to walk us through the car, show us all the options and features, helped us move the items from our previous car to the new one and ensured we had a great experience. Firstly, When I pulled up to the service area on 1/7 it took ten minutes for someone to acknowledge that "we'll be right with you". And then another ten minutes to finally speak to someone. Secondly, I was there in regards to the Important Safety Recall letter I received for my Tucson. The letter said, in short, a risk of fire in the engine compartment. It took over two weeks to get an appointment. The letter also stated, repairs would be made in an hour or less, but possibly longer. However, after one and a half hours, the necessary part to repair the problem wasn't installed nor was it even on hand. I was told this was just to determine if my car needed the part. That would of been nice to know, wouldn't you think? Now I have to wait who knows how long to make another appointment and make another trip down to the dealership. My time is valuable just like yours. But what's worse is I'm driving a car that could catch on fire and cause bodily harm to me and my family. Thirdly, a copy of this review has been sent to Hyundai Corporate offices. More
