He explained necessary servi This was my first visit to South Bay Hyundai, and the first service for my Hyundai Ioniq plug-in. Jack Kim was so nice! He explained necessary services based on my vehicle mileage. Who knew synthetic oil was best for this car! Jack also arranges for Lyft to take me to a nearby shopping center while my car was serviced. What a perk! He also set the range to alert me for the next oil change. WOW. The process after the paperwork was put in was typical dealership speed, and it took a long time to get into financing. However, luckily the paperwork only took about 20 min or so. Pleasant Experience Overall This was my first time ever buying a car and everyone I encountered at SB Hyundai was friendly and helpful. They didn't push anything on me and it was overall, much less stressful than another dealership I had gone to. My only suggestion is that the actual interest FEE (not just the percentage) should be listed in the breakdown of taxes and fees they show you before you decide to make a purchase. The page I was shown only listed taxes, registration fees, rebate discounts, and the subtotal of all that...which is not accurate when you take into account the APR you're given. If I had seen this, I probably would've gone with a cheaper car. When you go to a dealership after work, are tired, and have been there for over 3 hours, yes things are going to slip up. I believe it's up to the salespeople to not assume ANYTHING. They should be as clear as possible. Not to mention, when I came back the next day to view that exact sheet of paper (which I signed), they could not find it for whatever reason, which is odd to say the least. In the end, I signed the contract so it is my responsibility to uphold my end. Other than all of that, I am very happy with my car so that's great! More
