I usually don’t leave reviews, but my recent experience at this Kia dealership was disappointing enough that I feel others should be aware. We appreciated that the dealership was able to fit us in for service during our vacation, which was helpful and convenient. However, the rush job by the service department ended up presenting a serious safety risk—especially with a toddler in the car. I had specifically requested that the wheels be checked. The service advisor, RT Ives, appeared rushed and disinterested throughout the process, and communication was lacking from the start. He was unable or uninterested in listening to what we signed off on to be completed. He became unfriendly and rude. I left the dealership hoping that at least the basics had been done correctly—but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. On the drive back from vacation, the car began vibrating so badly on the highway that it felt unsafe to continue. I had to stop at another Kia dealership, where they confirmed the wheels had not been properly balanced. They fixed the issue promptly and professionally, and the difference was immediate. To make matters worse, when I mentioned the issue, the front desk staff casually remarked that this particular advisor "consistently messes things up." That kind of internal acknowledgment, combined with what we experienced, is unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability. It’s frustrating and disappointing to pay for service that was either overlooked or done improperly—especially when it puts your family's safety at risk. I expected better attention to detail and oversight from a certified Kia service center. Unless this dealership seriously improves its service standards and quality control, I would recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere—particularly for anything safety-related. More
