That being said, this visit surpassed all my expectations. I envisioned myself walking through the gates of xxxx because of all the horror stories I've heard about dealerships and salespeople. I can honestly say my experience was a pleasant one. From the moment I walked in I kept waiting for "the catch" but there were none. Delvin, my salesperson, made the purchasing of my car extremely effortless and easy. I walked in there with my guard up and quickly realized it wasn't necessary. Thankful I was shopping around to purchase a new car, since my vehicle lease was expiring at the end of October. I wanted to purchase the same type of vehicle I was shopping around to purchase a new car, since my vehicle lease was expiring at the end of October. I wanted to purchase the same type of vehicle that I was leasing (small SUV). After doing some research, I had narrowed my choice to a Mazda CX-5, Toyota Rav 4 or Honda CRV. I went to Truecar and requested prices for each of my choices. Barby from Sport Mazda contacted me right away and after several text messages back and forth, I made an appointment to go to the dearship. in the meantime other dealerships contacted me but were unwilling to work with me, some even suggesting that I needed to purchase a pre-owned or downsize to a smaller car. Dealing with those people sort of got to me. I contacted Barby to cancel the appointments but she told me to come on in and we could work something out. When I got to the dealership, Barby had a CX-5 for me to test drive. I can't say enough good things about her, we sat down and she listened to my concerns. I left the dealership with the car I wanted. Bud from finance was great, I did not feel as I was being taken advantage off as I always feel when purchasing a new car.
