Positives: Antonio Natera. He is an amazing representative for Subaru. He was patient, willing to answer his phone to reassure me of delivery dates, and explained and guided me He is an amazing representative for Subaru. He was patient, willing to answer his phone to reassure me of delivery dates, and explained and guided me through using all of the features of the new Outback that I purchased before I drove it off the lot. It seriously felt like he cared enough to keep me in the loop instead of making his sale and forgetting about me. He deserves a lot of credit for his patience and kindness. Negatives: Sam Hadid. Wow, this guy was insufferable. I paid for my new Outback with cash, which already frustrated him when I sat down to make the payment. He spent a few minutes going through the different warranties that Subaru offers when you purchase a car from them and I politely declined, as Sport Subaru advertises a lifetime warranty that includes some minor areas of the car. He immediately threw his hands up and told me, "It's your risk!" as if he doesn't stand behind the product that I just paid almost $40k for. I then reminded him of the lifetime warranty and that I'm not worried about the powertrain past the limited warranty and he laughed in my face and told me the lifetime warranty that's advertised HEAVILY by Sport Subaru is useless and a way to get people to buy cars from them. This completely contradicted all of the great things Antonio mentioned to me about the warranty. I politely told him that I don't have another $5k to spend on a warranty because I just purchased a car with a lump sum of cash, to which he looked at my parents who were in the room with me and told them, "You guys should pay for it then. You can't let him make a decision like that." When they said no, he turned back to me and kept reminding me that I NEED the warranty or the car is useless and will break before it reaches 100k miles. He was completely unprofessional and made a mockery of my pleasant experience I had at Sport Subaru the last 8 months I'd been shopping for a car with Antonio. I drove off the lot feeling lied to, deceived, and condescended. Sport Subaru, you should keep your eye on him. I understand that your financial salesman have numbers to achieve but making customers feel like they just made a big mistake when making a car purchase goes against what Subaru wants, I hope. More
