We also make sure, that when a customer reaches out to us in their search for a vehicle, that we follow up until they have reached a decision, regardless of which vehicle they've decided to purchase. In our industry, we see many more examples of customers who are disappointed that no one cared to follow up. We pride ourselves in making sure a customer feels that his/her time was valued. The choice between the Rogue and the Escape is a personal one. In researching both vehicles online, you would find that the Rogue has better road tests, crash test ratings, as well as better gas mileage. That is truly what the salesmen you were working with were trying to convey. The IIHS has rated the 2015 Nissan Rogue as a 'Top Safety Pick' while the Escape did not make the list. We respect your decision, of course, in choosing the Ford and wish you many years of carefree driving :) Lastly, when our employee made the reference to the purchase of a domestic car, he was speaking from a place of personal experiece. Mr. Foster, customer service is our top priority here at St. Charles Hyundai, so when a customer sends in a survey with poor marks, we attempt to contact the customer to resolve any concerns. The survey you returned was for a service visit for a free oil change. The comments made on the survey actually referred to an 'uncomfortable seat belt'. We simply offered to have you bring in your vehicle so we could check out the seat belt, and if you wished, you could look at other vehicles which would be more comfortable. The seat belt was fine, operating perfectly as designed. We took the time to show you and your wife multiple options as a solution for your seat belt issue. Many employees did their best to accommodate your wishes. We proposed a great solution and are quite baffled by your state of dissatisfaction. We wish you well.
