Expensive wheel bearing repair I recently bought tires at a retailer not the dealer, and asked them about a noise in the left front. They mounted the tires, diagnosed the bad wheel bearing, and estimated $475 to do the repair. Being loyal to and trusting St. Cloud Toyota's work, I brought the 2005 Prius to them. I was ready to pay the $100 (?) diagnosis fee, but I was a bit surprised to learn that their estimate for the work was over $820. Having invested the diagnosis fee, I authorized the work. That price difference will cause me to rethink whether I bring the 2005 or the 2006 Prius back for expensive repairs. I have no issues with service, workmanship, or personnel. The "book price" for toyota repairs seems a bit steep, especially for my older vehicles. More
How S.C. Toyota earned my business. St. Cloud Toyota earned my business and let me tell you how! My wife bought a new 2007 Toyota Camry with the 4 cyl. motor. After about 9 years of own St. Cloud Toyota earned my business and let me tell you how! My wife bought a new 2007 Toyota Camry with the 4 cyl. motor. After about 9 years of ownership Toyota Motors sent out a recall for those particular vehicles with that specific motor for excessive oil consumption. Brought the car to Carlson Toyota in Coon Rapids,MN. to have it prepared for the oil consumption test of 1000 miles. Having owned that car since shortly after it's birth we have NEVER seen one drop of oil on the garage floor EVER!! Much to my surprise when the car was in Carlson Toyota the service manager told me that our car has a leaky oil pan and therefore could NOT prepare the motor for the 1000 mile oil consumption test UNLESS, they could replace the oil pan gasket at the small cost of only $400.00 dollars!! After a few expletives directed at them for trying to scam me I told them to immediately get the car off of the hoist and I WILL be leaving NOW!! They however had the audacity to let them change the "dirty air and cabin filters" (which I had replaced 1 month earlier) for only $125.00 including labor, which you can imagine what I told them. We then drove immediately to St. Cloud Toyota after calling and speaking to Rich, a service writer, with his assurance that they could get the car in and look at the leaking oil pan gasket. They looked and reassured me that the oil pan did indeed NOT LEAK!! ST. Cloud Toyota then sealed up the engine for the 1000 mile oil consumption test and after the test was complete St, Cloud Toyota rebuilt the engine and it is still in the family and since the repairs has never used another drop of oil!! Now, because of Rich in the service and the quality of work done by the dealership I vowed I would be returning to purchase a vehicle from them and I did. Two years ago my wife and I purchased a beautiful 2014 Highlander Limited from St. Cloud Toyota with the help of one helluva great salesman by the name of D. Darcy. No pressure is his character and D. Darcy did everything we asked of him and he made sure that the vehicle was in PRISTINE condition when we took delivery. I couldn't have been more impressed with this dealership and it's employee's!! We were so impressed that we made a deal on an exceptionally PRISTINE 2017 Highlander just yesterday (22719) with the same salesman D.Darcy and once again he did his magic to make our experience nothing short of OUTSTANDING!! Whenever we need the oil changed and the tires (which I always request new Michelin's be installed before I will take delivery) rotated ,we'll drive the 100 mile round trip to St. Cloud Toyota because of the first class dealership they are!! Thanks again D.Darcy for such a pleasant and memorable experience we won't forget. One more thing; kudos to Mitch in the financing department for his excellent work and knowledge of his job and computers!!! More

Because we are so happy with this car we'll continue to trade up every 2-3 years. We were so happy to find D-Arcy still working at our favorite dealership!!!He was beyond willing to help us with every request and his helpful suggestions were much appreciated. We purchased a 2017 today and the car is awesome!!!!!! We had a very pleasant experience once again and will continue doing business with St.Cloud Toyota!!!!!
