Don't take a diesel here! 6-8 week backup I dropped my Ram 1500 ecodiesel off unexpectedly because the check engine light was on on the electronic throttle light was on. It wouldn't go over 35 I dropped my Ram 1500 ecodiesel off unexpectedly because the check engine light was on on the electronic throttle light was on. It wouldn't go over 35 miles per hour. They did provide a leaner. However, after four full days, they contacted me and told me their diesel mechanic was backed up for 6-8 weeks! They didn't realize this back up four days earlier? My truck was not driveable. They suggested having it towed to another dealer. Unheard of in the 30 years I've been driving diesel trucks. I did have it towed to Lapeer and I will never return to Sterling Heights Dodge. More
