Where do I begin? I met with and test drove Outbacks and Foresters at a few other dealerships in the area and I didn't have that great of an experience. I checked the reviews on SCS and saw how great they were so I wanted to give looking at a new car one more shot, and my experience from the very first time I met with them was MILES better than all of the other dealerships combined. I was in contact with Salinee and made an appointment to come in and test drive an Outback with Hamid, and ended up test driving a Forester as well, which I ended up liking better. We spoke for a bit and after our conversation I told him I was pretty much sold on the Forester. After I left that day, Hamid followed up with me and provided me with plenty of different options of Foresters and did not try and sell me on the Outback, even though that was the car I was originally going in to test drive. Fast forward a month and I saw that they had the Forester Sport in the color I wanted, so I sent Salinee a text to see if I would be able to reserve it. She said yes and held it for me a little longer than usual since I was out of town at the time and wouldn't be getting back in town by the time they normally would have cancelled my reservation and put it on the lot. I was able to check out the car and ask all of my questions, which were answered fully and honestly. I said I still had to think some things over and would be in touch the following day. I ended up having a few more questions I sent over to Salinee and she answered them promptly and gave me all the information I needed. I called Hamid and said I was interested in buying the car and driving it off the lot today if he was able to work with me just a little bit on the price. Now I know that right now isn't the greatest time to be buying a car and there isn't a whole lot of room to negotiate, but Hamid went above and beyond my expectations to work with me. One of the biggest things I needed with the car were the all-weather floor mats, which did not initially come with it. It might not seem like a lot, but for my own situation, they are needed. Hamid said he would add them to the car at no additional cost. I also had a trade-in and asked if they would give me a fair price, I would be down later that day... they ended up giving me a more than fair price and made it a deal I couldn't say no to. Hamid ended up waiting for me even though he was off at 6pm. My trade-in process was a little more complicated than expected, but my situation was rather unique and the entire staff that worked with me through the process made it as painless as possible (even if there were a few bumps in the road along the way). They rolled with the punches and still managed to get me out of the door faster than I thought was going to happen. Hamid and Salinee were absolutely incredible to work with. They were professional, answered all of my questions, did not constantly text/call/email me to try and get me back in the door (like every other dealership did, which was incredibly annoying and immediately made me say no to them), and truly went above and beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend Stevens Creek Subaru enough, and I am beyond happy that I decided to purchase my vehicle from their dealership.
