Mercifully, no one was injured, but I still had the daunting challenge of finding a new car in a very short period of time. I really wanted another Golf and I had some very specific preferences, including manual transmission and a black exterior. I searched and searched, but to no avail. Then like magic, I found Alan Soon at Stohlman VW in Vienna, Virginia. I told Alan what I wanted, and he spent an entire day calling every VW dealership in the country to find it for me He was unbelievably helpful, kind, patient, funny, reassuring, and most of all, HONEST. Within 3 days, I had exactly the car I wanted, and at a phenomenally good price, too! I have never had such a positive experience with a car dealership or a salesman in the 40 years I’ve been driving.
