He respected my requests and didn't hassle me like other salesman who called, emailed, and texted like class-V clingers. My experience was awesome overall. He was knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and as honest as he could be. Scott was personable and was a great introduction to the dealership. Alex in finance demonstrated his ability to write inverted with ease. He broke down costs and didn't waste our time, and was willing to work with our needs/wants. Perhaps my only gripe comes from the vehicle etching, which comes from the service department. Who puts a white glue on black rims and charges $199? My rim looks like someone got too excited too close and stained the rim. Will I recommend someone to this dealership to buy a new car, sure, but I'm less than pleased to see this added security feature stained on the outer part of my rim looking like someone spit on brand new rims. I couldn't see it while purchasing the vehicle because it was @ 8PM, but this lack of attention to detail, or one person's laziness, does make me question what else has been missed. More

This was my first time buying a "new" car, let alone from a dealership. I came back day after day to check out my options and think about my decision. Even though I took over a week to decide, Tom was never a dealership. I came back day after day to check out my options and think about my decision. Even though I took over a week to decide, Tom was never pushy, only patient and genuinely helpful. Once I figured out what I wanted, he helped me compare with similar cars at other local dealerships. Ultimately I bought an Outback I am SUPER excited about from Tom and feel very confident in my purchase. Thank you to the whole team at Subaru that gave me such a great experience. We had been to several dealers (both Subaru and other manufacturers), and summarily ruled out other vehicles because we didn't feel as comfortable as we did with Thomas Darby. We were a wishy-washy about our time-frame, and unlike other dealers we didn't feel overly pressured to commit immediately. Thomas seemed to understand where we were coming from on a host of issues, whereas other dealers tended to push us towards the cars they wanted to sell rather than what we wanted. We're certainly people that are averse to high-pressure sales or sales people coming off like a stereotype of a 'used car saleman' and this certainly wasn't the case with Thomas. More

He treated with us with respect and was candid during negotiations but never made us feel pressured to purchase at any point. We found him to be personable and experienced and left feeling good about not just the vehicle but the dealership and would definitely return to the dealership and would ask to work with Mr. Darby in a minute or would feel comfortable recommending him to a friend. If only all car buying experiences were this positive! More

Excellent service department When the check engine light came on, all functions related to the 'eye sight' system stopped working. I drove into the service aisle and even though I did not have an appointment, the issue was diagnosed within a few minutes - the catalytic converter had failed. The check engine light was reset and I made an appointment for the repair. All service was completed within the estimated time. The entire service staff is friendly and professional. More
