I used a digital coupon sent to me by this Subaru l I came without an appt to get an oil change, a tire rotation, and a part for one of my fog lights. I used a digital coupon sent to me by this Subaru location, covering the first two items, for $49.xx. The place was not busy; as usual, I was met right away at the drive up lane, this time by Max. I told him about my coupon, and he said he didn't need to see it. When I picked the car up, the paperwork showed $59.xx I showed Gabe in the Service Dept my emailed coupon. He was surprised about the amount and wasn't sure it was valid, though the date was good. He had to go check on it. After a relatively brief wait, he returned and processed the paperwork. I then went to the parts dept and bought the part I needed and grabbed one of the complimentary sodas to go (tell Salesman Ryan I got my diet Mountain Dew ;). When I got into the lot, I asked someone for help opening my soda (arthritic fingers). I thanked him and then proceeded to try and snap on the part (frame around the fog light) I had just bought. It was a little harder than I envisioned, starting with opening the box :). The same man who opened my soda for me came over and gladly inserted the part, though it was a little difficult for him too. He was so respectful and polite, and obviously very helpful to me. I did not realize until after that he was a Subaru employee! I told him I was a retired AF person and wasn't used to asking for help, and that his obvious willingness to give his time and help (while he was on his break I assume) to an advanced middle-aged woman was impressive and appreciated more than he could know. His name was Wyatt. Everyone I came into contact with that day was polite and nice, but Wyatt really stood out to me; he was so modest. Congratulations Subaru on finding such an employee! More
