I was at Subaru because I had a dead battery - the 2nd one in 3 years. The first time I was in and out with a brand new battery because the car was still under factory warranty. When I had a dead bat one in 3 years. The first time I was in and out with a brand new battery because the car was still under factory warranty. When I had a dead battery for the 2ND time, I was very upset because a battery should last longer than 18 months. The car was no longer under warranty, however; the battery came with a 30 month warranty. When I arrived at the dealership with the dead battery, I was initially told I would receive a new battery - which is what I wanted. Imagine my dismay when after waiting over 2 hours, I walked outside and see your tech trying to CHARGE THE OLD BATTERY. After several conversations and more time, I was told I would get a new battery. When I arrived home, I looked under the hood and it looks like the old battery was only recharged....doesn't look like a new battery, and I received no paperwork indicating it was a new battery. If this battery dies after 18 months, I will NOT buy another Subaru from this dealership. I have purchased 2 Outback models since 2010 from your dealership. The one I am now driving might well be the last purchase More
I went in for my 60000 checkup. Mike Needham was my contact. They gave me a loaner and called me about rear brakes. Then called when completed. Mr. Needham was very courteous and professional.
