I was contacted, in advance, by the dealership to come in and explore the possibility of upgrading my vehicle. I indicated that I was open, but that it had to cost me no out-of-pocket and match or reduce my and explore the possibility of upgrading my vehicle. He acknowledged my concerns and directed me to Chris Baird, who happened to be the 2020 Salesman of the Year. (I remarked to Chris, that when I purchased my current Subaru Forester, the salesman was Frank Servidio, who also happened to be the 2019 Salesman of the Year.). I told Chris I did not want to look at vehicles right away, but did want to talk numbers, which we did. He understood my position - meet or lower my monthly payment, no out-of-pocket costs, and the same coverages I had. Eventually, we agreed on ballpark costs and I selected one of the 2 available Foresters. He explained that the one I chose (Forester Touring) was a higher model than my Forester Limited. I reiterated my guidelines and also indicated that the Dealership asked for this experience, not me. Agreement was reached which met all my conditions and resulted in a slightly lower monthly payment. (It did not hurt that I was encouraged to contact Subaru Corporate and request a rebate/incentive as I was trading a 2019 Forester for a 2021 Forester. A coupon from Subaru to me arrived in my email about 20 minutes later, which was applied to my financial documents, resulting in a lower monthly payment.) More

The sales guy that sold me my Rouge told me the suv was from Florida really it was from New Jersey. He also said had never been in any accidents and it had a big scratch on the side that I noticed the sec from Florida really it was from New Jersey.
