I bought my Subaru Ascent completely on line, with the exception of speaking to Sher. I made the decision on a weekday afternoon and although I live 5 hours away, my car was delivered that same day. I never thought one could have a wonderful experience purchasing a car until I went to Subaru of Port Richey. The first person to impress me was Chris Baird. He was also the first car salesman I have e purchasing a car until I went to Subaru of Port Richey. The first person to impress me was Chris Baird. He was also the first car salesman I have ever met who was not pushy!! He took us on a tour of Outbacks at the dealership, and when we fell in love with one marked "Sold", he began working to see if he could find another one in time for us to take advantage of the 0% financing. Shortly after that, we received word that the Outback was now back on the market because the people who ordered it decided they wanted a different color. We knew that was a sign that the Outback was meant to be ours! Chris treated us like we were the only people at the dealership who were looking for a vehicle to purchase -- and the place was packed with some people asking for him (they were even willing to wait!!) That says volumes about Chris's reputation. The next person we met was Carl McCafferty who had all the paperwork prepared and ready to sign. He also went over options available and answered any questions we had. He is phenomenal!! The last person we met was Levi, who took us on a tour of our new vehicle. He explained its many features in a way we could understand. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, answering all of our questions. From start to finish, we were very impressed with everyone we met, even the Manager who was very friendly and spoke very highly of his staff. Facility is first class. Selection was very good. Price negotiation was easy. Only negatives were that the process took a very long time, and the tires were low when we left, triggering the low tire warnin negotiation was easy.
