I haven’t used the service center to date. I waited a month before deciding to answer a review request just to see if my first impressions were wrong. I prefer not to write reviews unless I can give a decent review. However... I haven’t used the service center yet. I’ve only had my car a month. Rick Stocker handed me off to Shevon as soon as I walked in the door. Shevon didn’t even know what was standard equipment on each of the Foresters, not even with the flyer listing the standard equipment and options on each Forester. I had to point this out to him. After the sale and upon delivery Garret went over the vehicle with me. Before I drive off I opened the trunk and realized I had 2 questions regarding the rails and cargo net which were still in packaging in the trunk. at first I didn’t even know what they were, no one opened the trunk to explain anything. I saw Shevon and asked him about the rails and cargo net. He blew me off didn’t want to be bothered but oh wait if I really couldn’t figure it out myself he would help. Very disinterested so I told him to forget it I’ll figure it out. On my return visit 3 weeks later to review features once again with Garret I asked 2 questions. 1. Does the dealership do window tinting and what’s the cost. 2. How often should the car be waxed. Garret said he didn’t know but would find out and call me back. That was Monday. Today is Thursday and he still hasn’t called. Finance person was good to work with. More
Generally good service I usually get good service here. I get free oil changes since I bought my car there so I keep going back. The wait can be long even when you make an appointment but it beats paying $70+ somewhere else. Their “multi point inspection” isn’t always an actual inspection. Last time I was in they didn’t tighten my oil drain plug properly and almost dumped oil all over the road. Thankfully I took it somewhere else to get new brakes and tires and they saw the leaking and found it was coming from the loose plug. The service receptionist guys are always nice and let me know what recommended services are coming up. Nice waiting room with free water bottles. More
