Our salesman was very professional and attentive. I purchased an extended warranty on my brand new car. I had a scheduled appointment for 10 am. Two hours later, my car was ready. I had the oil changed else’s, so why it took 2 hours for a routine maintenance check is beyond my comprehension. When the car was checked in, I asked that the computer be reset because it kept saying that it was due for an oil and oil filter change although it had been done. However, the computer was not reset. I wound up coming back to the dealership later I. The day because the computer screen froze while I was driving in an unfamiliar area. This was very inconvenient. When I returned, the service department did reset the computer (as I had asked for earlier in the day) and said the computer screen needed to be “updated “. Why couldn’t this be done when they had my car for two hours earlier in the day? Also, I asked for another car key which is supposed to be covered by the extended warranty I purchased. The person at the service desk said I would need to prepay and get reimbursed. I said that was fine but I have never been billed for the key. I don’t think she ordered it as I requested. I will be back in the Tampa area next week and will follow up on this issue. So far, I’ve been disappointed with my interactions with this dealership after taking delivery on my car. As I said, the salesman Chris B. was attentive and so was the woman who gave me an orientation to the vehicle a few days after I left. Now I’m regretting having purchased the extended warranty and service here. More
