I showed up pre-approved from capital one with a $550 a month payment. I test drove the car, was happy with it, said let's do it. I end up in the finance managers office. He ran all the paperwork and did not ask me a single question. Just printed everything out and had me start signing. At the end of it all I see my payments are much higher than I was pre-approved for. Why? Because he added all the extra services and warranties without even asking me first. His reason "I assumed you wanted to protect your purchase". Very unprofessional and dishonest. After calling the warranty company to cancel, they had it canceled within a few days and said it would apply back to my principle. They said now that the warranty is canceled they forward it to the dealer who then sends a refund check to capital one. After three weeks, still no refund applied. I called Sun Toyota to ask why. They said it takes 10 weeks at minimum. Ten weeks? To send a refund to capital one? More
