I looked up John Wesley on their website and called him direct with a pre-owned vehicle I was interested in. I felt he was honest about their cost in the car and we were able to come to an amicable price over the phone (I told him I was ready to buy that day). He handed me off to Mike Geraghty who verified info on the vehicle and we set an appointment. Mike had the car spotless (looked NEW!) and ready to go. He noticed there were a couple nicks near the door and touched them up for us while in F&I office. Super laid back, very respectful of us, our questions, and our time. Worked with Treff in F&I who was a quick, accurate professional. All-in-all from appointment arrival to out-the-door was just under 2 hours. I will continue to recommend anyone who asks about a used vehicle to see Mike and team at Sunset. Thanks, guys! More

I visited Sunset Ford for an initial test drive and worked with Tim Stewart. There was a no pressure atmosphere at Sunset Ford. I was able to do a test drive and get information without having the high pressure sales pitch. At other dealerships I felt that I was having constant car sales games played. At Sunset I was given an upfront and competitive price with an easy process. I’d recommend Sunset to anyone looking to buy a car and would highly recommend working with Tim Stewart. More
Expected better Customer Service My experience started out as average. I was expecting an impersonal interaction from someone trying to sell me more than what I wanted, and that's wha My experience started out as average. I was expecting an impersonal interaction from someone trying to sell me more than what I wanted, and that's what I got. I was in a bit of a predicament and needed something inexpensive that I hope will last 2-3 years. My budget was around 5-6k so I wasn't expecting to get the most attention. Again that's exactly what happened. I decided on an '05 SUV with 147000 miles on it. I figured they wouldn't provide any kind of warranty and they didn't. I asked for a 30 day and they declined. So 20 days later I'm driving around town with the family and the car dies-not once but twice. I was able to restart it each time and make it home but figured I should get it looked at. I called Sunset first explaining the situation in the hope that they would at least check it out no charge but I would pay any work since I decided to buy it "As Is". But after dropping 6 Grand on it they wouldn't even comp the diagnostic test. I took it in anyway because the problem wasn't going to just go away. Was told it would probably be ready that day. It was not and didn't even get a call. I had to call them at the end of the day as their mechanics were leaving around 430 and they said they hadn't even looked at it and they would the next day. Well surprise, surprise they didn't do it the next day either and again I had to be the one to call them for an update. Same story day 3 but at that point they said someone was on it after I told them not to touch it and I'd take it somewhere else. At this point they can't find the problem so for all I know I just invested thousands into this car with a major problem, can't get Suntrip to pay for a $100 diagnostics that should have been run before selling it and can't get a straight answer on a timetable. Obviously there are risks with buying anything as is, which I accept, but if you're a company that claims to have great service, these are the scenarios that prove or disprove that claim. Anyone is going to have great guest services when both parties get what they want but Sunset has proven to be undeserving of any such claim. If you're looking for good service during and after the sale I can't recommend Sunset. They'll only offer to help if it's included in the contract and they don't stand by all of their vehicles. Good job Sunset on saving $100. More

We visited Sunset as we have had great experiences over the past 20 years when buying a new truck. After visiting the competition, we went straight back to Sunset. The draw was not only loyalty but the salesman, Tim Stewart, made us feel like a friend. He was very personable and patient as we looked at many different cars.
