After inspecting our nephew's new 2011 Hyundai Elantra, and hearing of the great deal that he had gotten from Suntrup Hyundai in south county and of hearing about the Great salesman (Fred McClary) that he had encountered while there, my wife and I thought we would stop in at Suntrup and look at some of their cars in inventory and talk to Fred, as he had come highly recommended, to see what kind of deal, if any, we could make on a new Hyundai. After stopping in at Suntrup Hyundai and preparing for the worst, I was immediatly put to ease after meeting Fred. Fred is a dying breed of people with great interpersonal skills and oustanding personality, truly a gem and a rare find. I was prepared for the cocky salesman that was armed with the bad skills he had learned from trying to hustle money from card tricks, who's interest was only to make the most money that could from a deal. Instead we got truly a caring salesman, (Fred McClary), who's interest was in getting my wife and I a great car at the lowest possible cost. We had puschased an 2012 Hyundai Elantra, inwhich my wife is absolutley in love with. Linzie, the finance advisor, only compliments the team. Armed also with great interpersonal skills and a very friendly-reassuring personality. My wife and I have a very large family, (seven older children), we will definitley be back to see Fred and Linzie in the near future for another new car deal! Once again thank you Fred!. I can't seem to say enough about this guy. My recommendation to anyone looking to buy a great car and to deal with the very best in the bussiness, do yourself a favor before you stop anywhere else, you have to stop in at Suntrup Hyundai and see Fred and his team! After visiting about 7 Dealers we decided to check out Suntrup Hyundai, Mike greated us very pleasently, and was very blunt (which I asked him to be). He showed us new cars, and a few used cars, and helped us figure out the financing. What I appreciated even more is I brought the 3 ring circus. Three of us were buying/looking at the car, so it took a bit of scheduling. We had to leave one time to pick up our kids, and another time so someone else could go to work. Mike (and the others) really worked with us on this, and made sure to keep us informed and to call us. I've never heard a car dealership say hey, go home wait a few hours relax, eat, and we can always finish this later. (Doo whatt?) However, the thing that impressed me the most, was Mike's uncanny attention to detail, he remembered what was important to us and never brought it up again. (Being the worrywart I am. It was awesome at the end he went through Everything that was done, and everything we had asked/wanted.) Let's say the car was so awesome the service so great, my little family bought 2 instead of just one. More

I came in and worked with Tommy Daher 6/15/2011 for a new Hyundai Tuscon, MSRP was $23,145 and I agreed to a deal to pay $22,800. He said he needed two days to get the vehicle and have it ready, which I agreed to. He agreed to give me $8,800 KBB Fair for my 2009 Hyundai Sonata trade-in and I was responsible for $14,000 difference. I then asked if Hyundai still offers $500 military veterans discount and was told "yes" just bring in my DD214. Before I left Wed I left a $500 deposit. Which means with my deposit and military veterans discount I needed to bring a cashiers check for $13,000. When I returned Friday to pickup the new Tuscon he produced a contract for me to sign saying I would pay Suntrup Hyundai $14,000. He did not deduct the $500 deposit I paid in advance nor did I get $500 military veterans discount applied to the $14,000. I had in my possession a cashiers check for $13,000. I had already paid $500 deposit toward the total and with the $500 military veterans discount I was paying the full $14,000. I politely challenged the way the contract was written and showed him my iPad which had our deal itemized on it, which we did together on Wed. He proceeded to lose his temper and began yelling in front of the whole store and customers cussing me with a large selection of 4-letter expletives. He then ripped up the contract and continued yelling and cussing me as he ordered me to leave his store and never come back. I stood there in disbelief, and finally politely said, "who is your manager, may I have his name." He refused to give it to me and continued to cuss me and order me out of the store and to never come back. I calmly ignored him and walked over to the desk of Josh Creamer and asked if I could talk to Tommy's manager. Josh apologized for Tommy's behavior but said he was not high enough up the chain of command to take any disciplinary action against Tommy. He then proceeded to sit down with me and back up that I still owed Suntrup $14,000. After a lot of explaining Josh did agree that Tommy never made him aware of the $500 deposit I paid two days prior and then began saying that in order to close the deal I now owed $13,500. I mentioned that I also qualified for the $500 military veterans discount, so that $500, plus my $500 deposit, plus my cashiers check for $13,000 equaled the $14,000 Tommy and I agreed I owed at the time of pickup. Josh was emphatic that the only deal he would agreed to was that I had to pay full MSRP plus the doc fee, then my military discount would be applied. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I visited this dealer multiple times to look for a new car. The model I was looking for was not available (2012 Accent). However, Tony never pushed me to buy a different model. My experience with this dealership was an over all great experience. I was unable to lease a vehicle I wanted due to a blemish on my credit so the team at Suntrup went to bat and made it possible for me to experience. I am very pleased with this dealership for they could have just said sorry and left it at that but they didn't not many will do this. All the employees I delt with were great. We just purchased a car at Suntrup and are very pleased with our experience. IT listened to what we wanted and found us a perfect fit.
