Just wanted to thank Tampa Honda, specifically Sam for giving me the least stressful time ever when it came to purchasing a car. Sam is very friendly and down to earth. The price listed is not what they actually expecte you to pay. My vehicle had approximately 3000 dollars in hidden expenses and I am not talking about tax, tag and title which everybody expects. 2. My vehicle which only had 36,000 miles had significant undisclosed damage. It had recently been in a incompletely repaired accident that was not disclosed. It was delivered missing a fender liner with a bumper with large hole in it, thus not really driveable without risking damage to electronics and engine. This alone would be greater a 1000 dollars to repair properly. It can be barely seen in the images that were taken of the car and was not disclosed when I asked for images of any damage. 3. Two emergency lights were on upon arrival which were not disclosed. One was gas which I thought was rude but no big deal. The 2nd was the windshield whipper fluid which appears to be leaking, this could be related to the prior undisclosed unrepaired accident. 4. When the company was made aware of my complaints and given the opportunity to rectify the situation they ghosted me. An e-mail was sent with no response. A phone call was made with no response, the phone almost appeared as if I had been blocked but I do not know about that. 5. Upon talking to a friend who lived in the area, I was told good luck with them; and she described 2 episodes with 2 of her family members using the words misrepresentation more than once. So if you are still reading, You see the mistake that I made. Do not let it happen to yourself, that is my gift to you. The price of my vehicle was not bad after negotiation; I will likely will be able to repair and enjoy it. But the dishonest approach should not be accepted as normal. They even tried to get me to fill out the review before I got the car which I now see was probably quite intentional. They said they spent close to 2000 dollars on the car to refurbish, but to me it looks more like they over paided themselves to clean it and do legal obligations like make sure that the tires brakes and batteries are in decent shape I was eventually contacted after the review and offered $1000 when they new the car was getting an estimate at a body shop Ibwaited for the estimate which came back minimum of 1800. I was then pass to a sales manager Dan who was very confrontational and yelled at me sharing half truths totally unapologeticly. This Company is comfortable with their practices. Beware More

I submitted an entire application, received confirmation and even a pickup time for my “new car,” when the car wasn’t even available! They said someone else bought it the same day when I called to ask quest and even a pickup time for my “new car,” when the car wasn’t even available! They said someone else bought it the same day when I called to ask questions. THEN they tried to sell me another one for more money. What makes me most angry is now my credit report has a hard inquiry for nothing!! Do not buy a car online or otherwise from these people, they lie. Bait and switch. More

The last time I brought my car in, their service department crushed my wheel stud so badly, that they were afraid to replace it for fear of damaging The last time I brought my car in, their service department crushed my wheel stud so badly, that they were afraid to replace it for fear of damaging the wheel without having the correct parts on hand to fix their mistake should anything happen. They sent me home with the crushed wheel stud and said they would order the required parts. I tried for months to follow up but there was always some reason they didn’t have the part on hand and could fix the issue. I could never get ahold of anyone in the service department. I finally gave up and took it elsewhere and paid to have Tampa Honda’s mistake fixed. More

I was scammed and taken advantage of traded my previous brought vehicle from them and purchased another vehicle thinking everything was fine all to find out months later that someone signed me an my spouse brought vehicle from them and purchased another vehicle thinking everything was fine all to find out months later that someone signed me an my spouse name on finance papers and we never seen them before.Brought it up to sales manager Wes but he just tried to sweep it under rug called an spoke to with Gm Dan an still nothing has been done so I’m seeking legal counsel this is fraud an totally unexpected.Had to obtain original copy from finance company who quickly blamed the dealership. Had an oil change last September. Noticed my front skid plate hanging down. Took it into Hendrick Honda and they fixed it. Called Tampa Honda and talked to Ricardo Reyes and he said no way that happened and would not own up to it. He said he would talk to his supervisor Joe Ocasio. He never got back to me. I called Joe Ocasio and he said he would look into it. I even had a statement from Hendrick saying they had fallen out. I have tried to call Joe on four different occasions and he refuses to return my calls. Their answer is he's out in the shop. Had another issue with an oil change and again they were more worried about their service ratings than doing a good job. I requested that Joe Ocasio's supervisor give me a call. Guess what? Still waiting. I have bought 3 Honda's and have had good luck with all three. Tampa Honda service seems to be more worried about service people getting good reviews than anything else. I would not recommend them to my enemies! I am taking my business elsewhere! Rude and unprofessional! More

I recently purchased a car from them and the all around experience was down right wrong.. I purchased a 2020 Honda Civic hatchback sport and had taken it home and noticed something was wrong with the front end of the car so I contacted the dealership to let them know, when I contacted them Ali (who was my sales guy) kept giving me a run around and would tell me he was getting grilled by his manager and would keep making up excuses as to why I couldn't bring my car in to be looked at, so I ended up getting sick with impetigo and was quarantined for two weeks, when I got feeling better I went to the dealership and spoke with the sales manager about everything that happened.. mind you I have evidence and more issues with my car popped up including water being retained in the back passenger door, a leak in my hack door, a squeaky belt, and there wasn't even washer fluid in my windshield wipers.. I had taken pictures of the car before I took it off the lot like any excited person would when they get a new car.. anyway that experience was horrible because he was basically calling me a lier till I pulled out my phone and showed him proof of the crack on the front the water draining out of my door for almost 2 mins and he backed away and started acting more on my side.. he goes inside talks with his manager and gives me a slip for my inconvenience and to have the part fixed/replacement.. mind you I live over an hour away so I putting miles and spending money on gas to get to Tampa Honda.. any way I have to come back to get my car fixed, they tell me there is an issue with my battery and that it might need to be replaced.. so why did you sell me a car with a faulty battery? okay.. so I go and get my parts fixed the tally for what's wrong with my car is at what 5 or 6 issues? majority of the issues was there before I even purchased the car.. so anyway i get my part fixed and when they bring me my car the bottom front end where the flares are looks like it's broken so I bring it to their attention and Ali even brings out another person to look at it and he says that it's broken and needs to be replaced.. what does Ali do take it to the service department and they do nothing to fix the piece.. I'm completely dissatisfied with my experience at Tampa Honda and I will not be spending anymore of my hard earned money there.. I put alot of money down on the car and honestly I regret it.. I'm shocked that they would do this to me and I'm still waiting to hear back from the service advisor about my experience and it's been almost a week.. so just goes to show you they don't car about their customers.. will not be doing business here again..
