We were treated with courtesy and respect at Tampa Hondaland. We live about 80 miles away from there now, but we bought our first Honda from there and were willing to go back because the salesman the Hondaland. We live about 80 miles away from there now, but we bought our first Honda from there and were willing to go back because the salesman there was so kind to us and took such good care of us the first time, in 2005. (John Morelli) Jason, who took care of the paperwork, was so professional and over-and-above that, he was reassuring as he sped through all the forms and documents that had to be signed before we could get our keys. He helped us decide on the extra warranties to get without being pushy and seemed genuinely interested in making the experience a pleasant one. More
My wife and I had a great experience at Tampa Hondaland. They provided excellent service, did everything they said they would do and put us in the car we wanted (Honda Pilot, 4WD w/RES). The service was qui They provided excellent service, did everything they said they would do and put us in the car we wanted (Honda Pilot, 4WD w/RES). The service was quick and to the point. We dealt with Ali ??? (not sure of his last name) and John Leaver the sales manager. Both were very customer oriented and did whatever it took to win our business. Excellent follow up and service after we purchased the SUV. Two thumbs up! More
I dealt with Earl Kober and his manager Majid Raffoul to purchase 1 2009 Accord LX. I had shopped online with other Honda dealers in the Tampa Bay area, but Tampa Hondaland offered the best price via email purchase 1 2009 Accord LX. I had shopped online with other Honda dealers in the Tampa Bay area, but Tampa Hondaland offered the best price via email, and they had the color I wanted in stock. However, when I got there, Earl didn't honor his email price with my unseen trade-in; his boss tried to dismiss it as if it never was written. In the end, I came away with a fair price, although it took alot of negotiation. There was no hard-sell, just good natured "haggling" to get a win-win. Chris in Finance was very kind as we finalized the payment paperwork. When I refused to take any extended warranty add-ons, Majid came in to try and push that, to no avail. Overall, everyone was friendly and low-key. Like any car buying, just be armed with information before you go to Tampa Hondaland or any other car dealer. I would buy from Tampa Hondaland again. More
Stay away from this place. The sales men are sharks and dont care about you or your needs. The financing team is the worst they must have hired these guys from the streets. Dont tell them what you can pay dont care about you or your needs. The financing team is the worst they must have hired these guys from the streets. Dont tell them what you can pay max a month if you must go. The worst dealer in tampa ever. They are liars and cheats. They will take advantage of you and rip you off. I hope this saves someone time and money. Please don't make the same mistake I did do not do business with them please. More
BEWARE. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. I did a mistake to buy BEWARE. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. I did a mistake to buy car from Tampa Hondaland. FINANCING WITH THEM WAS BIGGEST MISTAKE. Funny thing is, before BEWARE. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. I did a mistake to buy car from Tampa Hondaland. FINANCING WITH THEM WAS BIGGEST MISTAKE. Funny thing is, before finalizing the car, salesperson will tell you, it is the best, reliable car and I don't have to worry about anything. Once you said YES to buy the car, right after 15 minutes the 'Business Manager' will try to sell you optional (expensive) car care warranties and will give you examples of all the things that can go wrong even in a new car. I agreed to take an optional 'Car Care' warranty, ONLY because it can be canceled anytime on customer's wish, and there will be 100% refund of warranty price. (if canceled within 30 days). After buying car on Jan 3rd, 2008, within a week after talking to friends and colleagues I decided to cancel 'Car Care' warranty (cost 2400$), and called 'Bryan Henry', my business manager at Tampa Hondaland. I had to call three times to get hold of him. (He never returned my voice msgs). After taking appointment with Bryan Henry, I went to Dealership within 2 weeks of buying car to cancel 'Car Care' warranty, and he showed up after full 45 minutes. I completed application and gave it to him, for cancellation of 'Car Care' warranty. That day (mid of January 08), he said 2400$ will be credited to my auto loan account 'soon'. And after complete SIX WEEKS, there is no credit in my loan account. In last 4 weeks, I called this guy 'Bryan Henry' more than 6 times and left three voice messages. He never called me back. Then I requested the phone operator to transfer my call to anyone who can help me. She gave my call to another 'Business Manager' named Paul, he heard my story , took my phone number and assured someone will call me soon. No call Yet, even after 4 days!! This is too much. I am paying interest on those extra 2400$, which should be credited in my loan account SIX WEEKS back. I am totally pissed off with them, and I may go to court now.! thanks for reading. More
Mostly the sales people at Tampa Hondaland, just kept me waiting around & didn't seem to care about my needs & requirements. And it wasn't just me either. There were plenty of other people just sitting & waiting around & didn't seem to care about my needs & requirements. And it wasn't just me either. There were plenty of other people just sitting & waiting around for help & they just were not getting it. I don't know if it's because they didn't have enough sales people working or if their sales people or managers just aren't organized. Even though their paperwork, said they had certain vehicles, the vehicle I was interested in wasn't on their lot. It's possible someone could have been testing driving the car, but nevertheless it doesn't instill a lot confidence in the people working at Hondaland in Tampa. Plus getting a quote out of them is impossible too. They've obviously lost me as a customer. More
I have nothing nice whatsoever to say about this dealership. In the beginnig, they were very friendly, but after they dealt with us, they had a "we already got their money" attitude. My girlfriend dealership. In the beginnig, they were very friendly, but after they dealt with us, they had a "we already got their money" attitude. My girlfriend & I came there because both our cars broke down in less than a 24 hour period. We had no money down, so they wouldn't even allow us to walk the lot. They brought us what THEY wanted to "get rid of". It was a stickshift, which we didn't know how to drive, they insisted on giving us & after 3 hours trying to learn how to use it, we decided it wasn't a good idea. They wouldn't take it back until my girlfriend's father threatened to bring his lawyer there. He even had to pull the race card. The general manager was trying to lie & say he wasn't who he was, and that the real general manager turns his phone off at night. Now, if you're a "general manager", isn't it your JOB to be able to be contacted 24/7?!? If a general manager turns his phone off, then he SHOULDN'T BE A GENERAL MANAGER IN THE 1ST PLACE!!! They finally worked with us & brought us a 2003 Saturn Vue. That day we got there 8AM & after everything, we got home @ 11PM. Yes, 11PM!!! Things were cool for a while, just waiting for the tag. We got an oil change 11/21. Today we just realized the headlights wouldn't stop blinking when we locked the doors unless we hit the hazard button. Something told me to look under the hood. When I tried to pop the hood, The switch was dangling!!! They broke it & didn't even say anything about it!!! Being that it was a new car, they were hoping we wouldn't have a reason to look under the hood & by the time we discovered it was broken, it would be easier to say it was our fault. I'm not stupid!!! Now I have to spend one of the only days I have off, again, trying to correct ANOTHER problem they're responsible for, not to mention having to still go back TOMORROW after work to get another temporary tag because they STILL didn't mail us our tag yet, since 9/19. I hate Tampa Hondaland!!! I wouldn't recommend them to Satan himself!!! More
