Outstanding dealership and sales team I bought a pre-owned Subaru Legacy and I would not have had better service if I had bought a new Volvo. They were honest, no pressure, and went out of their way to make the entire experience pleasant and painless. The car had about 56,000 miles on it, but they did the 60,000 mile recommended serivce including brakes. The car was rated as a good deal by Carfax, well under the recommended selling price. The sales rep told me the negative features of the car, Subaru's less than state-of-the-art blue tooth system. When I took delivery, the sales rep spent about a half hour walking me through every feature. He had taken time to familiarize himself with the blue tooth system and helped me set it up. This was far more than the Subaru dealership that sold me a new Outback had done. The previous owner did not turn in the valet key, but they are having one made for me. The business manager who handled the paperwork portion, I believe his name was Kevin, was pleasant, and the entire process didn't take fifteen minutes. They had everything ready in advance and there were no surprises. By the way, the outstanding sales rep was Shawn Haggerty. I would highly recommend Tasca in Cranston, RI and Shawn Haggerty in particular, to anyone looking to by a used car. This dealership also has some spectacular luxury used carsl. More
Always satisfied with their service. Got to the service writer's desk at my scheduled time, had my service request reviewed and the car was in for service shortly afterwards. WOW! What a winning team, it could not be better.. David Delponte was spectacular! Above and beyond is his Mantra ... and that is so obvious. Unenjoyable experience, but seems to depend who is involved I went here to look at a couple of cars that I was interested in. By the time I was done, I went to another Ford dealership. The entire experience consisted of the salesman (Alfonso) talking to me for a minute, then wandering off to his manager and coming back without the answers to any of the questions that I had. The final time he did this, I followed him to his manager's office.I don't think his manager was pleased to be talking to me. When it was clear that they were only interested in playing games, I left and went to another Ford dealership where I was definitely treated better. I thought that their management might want to know about the dissatisfaction of the tactics of their salespeople, but after leaving messages with the sales manager and general manager, I did not receive a call back. Added 8-16-17 - Based on my review here I did receive a response from Carl Tasca about my experience. I am satisfied with the level of response that he gave me. Based on his level of responsiveness (both what is posted here and in private messages), while I did have a bad experience at the dealership, although circumstances have led me to not purchase a new car at this time (from anyone), when I resume my search in the future, I will give Tasca Ford another opportunity. More
