I live in Massachusetts and spent a significant amount of time trying to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I initially worked with a salesperson, but suddenly learned that he had been fired. After that, the entire process became even more confusing and frustrating. I was sent multiple versions of purchase and sales agreements that appeared inaccurate or misleading to me. It felt as though the dealership was creating excuses because they did not really want to sell me the vehicle in the first place. I already had financing approved through my own credit union, but the dealership would not provide the proper documentation my credit union needed. Instead, I felt that they were misleading me and pressuring me to finance through the dealership. I was also told that the title would be sent to my credit union to secure the financing. I later discovered that the dealership apparently did not have the title to the vehicle at that time. This caused additional confusion and made me question the honesty and transparency of the entire transaction. Because I was purchasing the vehicle from out of state, I paid out of pocket for a pre-purchase inspection at a Lexus dealership. Ted Britt Chevrolet gave me a hard time about arranging the inspection, even though it was reasonable for me to have the vehicle checked before traveling from Massachusetts. The Lexus inspection found problems with the headlights and the driver’s seat heating and cooling ventilation fan motor. Despite these issues and the repair costs involved, the dealership was unwilling to offer a reasonable discount on the vehicle. There were also unexpected fees that were not clearly explained to me beforehand. The final straw was the general manager, who was extremely rude and told me that I should find another car. After all the time, effort, money, financing arrangements, and inspection costs I invested, I found the general manager’s response completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This was a terrible experience from beginning to end. Based on my experience, I would STAY AWAY FROM TED BRIT CHEVROLET. Anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership—especially an out-of-state buyer—should get every detail in writing, carefully review every document, independently verify the title, and obtain a pre-purchase inspection before paying anything. Also don't let them bully you into financing with them More
It began with the sales manager, Stephen, making a deal with me over the phone on a used BMW X7. We agreed on price and a new set of tires, and the next day the sales guy called me to say he couldn't do t with me over the phone on a used BMW X7. We agreed on price and a new set of tires, and the next day the sales guy called me to say he couldn't do the deal. So, they offered to take another $500 off and "let" me get the tires I want for the car. I declined and they again said they cannot do the deal as agreed. So, after evaluating my options I requested actual readings of the tread depth on the existing tires with 24,000 miles on them. They came back with reasonable depth that should have lasted me the summer at least. Knowing i was going to have to replace the tires anyway, I begrudgingly agreed to the new deal. Booked a ticket and flew down from NH to VA to find a car with BALD rear tires. Like practically racing slicks. I threw a fit, but also knew I was a bit captive. Enter Rush, the GM. Pretended to be a nice guy but was not going to do a thing to make the problem right. Then offered to take a look at his financials and "if he can do anything" he will get back in touch with me. NEVER HEARD A WORD AGAIN FROM HIM. The car itself checks out and is in great shape (per my local BMW dealer). However, 2x Bait and Switch from one dealership is three strikes for me. I'll never go back to Ted Britt Chevrolet. More

She helped locate the exact vehicle we were looking for, arranged a test drive, and worked diligently to ensure the entire process went smoothly. Additionally, the supporting staff were friendly and polite. I wish I could remember and list the names of everyone who helped us because they were all so nice and helpful. Each of them made every effort to keep us comfortable and assisted in making the overall experience simple, clear, efficient, and pleasant. Thank you, Maria and Will for all of your help. More
We bought a brand new 2025 Equinox EV in March (2025). In October, we started having a slew of problems (tire pressure system, OnStar module not working, etc.). We have now had our car in their shop off and on for over a month since October 30th (including one time where we left it there for over 2 weeks and the problem still wasn't fixed). We, once again, do not have access to our vehicle. We were promised that the repairs would finally be done Friday 1/16/26. We had to call repeatedly to find out that the car would not be done until 1/17/26. Shock - surprise - it was not done on 1/17/26. We called multiple times on 1/18/26 - and no one would even answer the phone. It is now 1/19/26 and we still have no vehicle. The answer is always that they had to "order a part." We have gotten no updates unless we persistently call them. We get no empathy and told that the GM will call us (spoiler: he won't). The head of service is downright nasty if you have an issue (he tried to convince us there was no issue with the tire pressure sensors or OnStar module - yet the screen doesn't work at all)...and today was more interested in complaining about his recent lab work (and high cholesterol) than trying to right the issue of them essentially holding our car hostage. It should not take months to fix these issues. We shouldn't have to call incessantly just to get some sort of update on our vehicle. I would even take a simple, "I'm sorry it's taking so long." But NOPE. I spoke to a guy in sales two days, out of desperation because we couldn't get ahold of anyone in the service department, and was promised we'd get a call from the GM to fix this. I won't hold my breath. More

STAY CLEAR-You could not pay me enough to ever purchase another vehicle from this place. I bought a used 2022 chevy tahoe from them in November. I made the mistake of going here because the had a used ve another vehicle from this place. I bought a used 2022 chevy tahoe from them in November. I made the mistake of going here because the had a used vehicle at a great price. They charged me for extras that I specifically told them I did not want. This is on me. I didn't catch it until it was to late. secondly, i asked for the second key, they told me they did not have it. Not sure why i didn't find this out until I was on the way out the door. I have emailed the sales and finance guy. I have not heard back from them. I called them and no response. Talked to them via there messenger app, someone will get back with you. Once they have your money, they don't care. They told me that a second key would be $800. I got a gm oem key, for less then half of that. They have a shady business practice and non responsive. I'll stay local from here on out. not making this mistake twice. More

I told him I would be there between 7 and 8 that evening to pick up the car. When I got there they had SOLD THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE. I drove an hour each way and did all the negotiating for absolutely nothing. They clearly have no respect for you or your time. More
