I had an appt with Ivam to see a mini cooper. Drove 1 hour only to arrive and be told the car was sold. He states it had been a “pending” sale, which he wasn’t aware of. I drove 2 hours to this dealership to test drive a car and get a better feel for what's out there before making a decision. While I appreciated the opportunity to drive the car, I was disappointed by the inappropriate behavior afterward. I was scolded and judged by Gustavo for not being ready to commit that day. I understand that dealerships prefer committed buyers, but making assumptions about a shopper’s intentions can lead to a negative experience — especially for serious buyers who are simply doing their due diligence.
