The Service Manager, Kevin Adams, is less then helpful. I started the conversation with the fact we have complained about the transmission in our 2012 Fusion jumping and slipping every time we took the car to Thoroughbred Ford. When I said this to Kevin his statement back was, “Let’s be truthful”. When I told him not to call me a liar, he argued that he did not call me a liar. He wanted to argue semantics. He called me a liar and wanted to argue out in the Service area instead of taking me and my wife back to his office. When In became upset he astated, “you want us to fix your issue acting like you are”. He began the conversation the wrong way by calling me a liar. Very unprofessional!!!! As my wife walked away he stated something that my wife did not hear, but when she asked him to repeat himself he would not. My wife had talked with Jon prior to us talking with Kevin and he was a disrespectful individual. No one would tolerate a person disrespecting their wife. Employees at Thoroughbred Ford need t go to customer service training. Thoroughbred Ford rating would be 0 stars, but I have to do one star. More

We turned around and made a stop at Thoroughbred Ford in Platte City. One of the service writers there tried to close it with no luck. He checked to see if they had someone who could look at it but all their bays were full. So he recommended the service center on Barry Rd. because they had longer hours and made a call to let them know we we coming. (Kudos to Platte City as well!) When we arrived at the Barry Rd. Service Center, Andrew was the one to help us. He came out, assessed the problem (found a couple of broken parts in the track that prevented it from closing) and got it closed. Unfortunately it didn't seal. So he got some collision wrap to seal it off and we were back on the road. Andrew was so helpful and didn't hesitate In trying to remedy our problem. This was customer service at its finest! Kudos to Andrew! More

He said "I'd be due for another oil change next year." JD couldn't have been nicer. I would recommend him to friends. Thank you for your service guys and gals at Thoroughbred. More
charged for parts I did not need on Friday, August 4th, 2017, my battery light came on and everything started dinging. A month prior to this I changed the alternator in my van. so be on Friday, August 4th, 2017, my battery light came on and everything started dinging. A month prior to this I changed the alternator in my van. so being we were literally at the light by thoroughbred Ford we drove it in. they said it would be Monday before they looked at it, fine. we got a call a few hours later telling us the alternator was bad. we said are you sure?? we were told it tested at 12 and the range was 13-15. so a few more hours pass and we get a call the van was done. we asked to keep the old alternator ! they said it would be $432 we paid, I promptly took the alternator back to where i purchased it and had it tested, IT PASSED!! I then went to another company to have it tested, IT PASSED AGAIN! upon returning to the dealership I asked for a printout of the test stating the alternator was bad..... uh, we do not do that. In order to appease me, they said we will take out our new alternator and put your old one in for free... oh really!! PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS HERE !! The SERVICE DEPT. IS SOOOOO DISHONEST!!! Mind you I am not your average female, I have been fixing cars since I was a kid. I know my way around an engine!! they treated me live I was some dumb housewife that knew nothing. I asked if they tested it while the car was running, if they tested the battery....ect, ect... PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! More
Great! We had a great experience with Thoroughbred Ford about 2 years ago so we went back again just this month. Thoroughbred I would have to say is one of We had a great experience with Thoroughbred Ford about 2 years ago so we went back again just this month. Thoroughbred I would have to say is one of the easiest Ford dealerships to buy/trade a car. Just this month we traded in our 2 year old car for another used car. The sales agent we originally had was not who we worked with on the lot, but he was included in this trade in/purchase. Your first time dealing with the dealership, that Sales agent is assigned to you for life. The agents are accessible and flexible. I found that there is true loyalty with their sales team...they honor and respect each other. Finance group is also very easy to deal with...they were practical and fast. More

Their salesman, Steve Novak met us at the door and asked if he could help. We sat down and he asked what we were looking for, from options to color. He took notes, went to their inventory and found exactly what we wanted. We drove our new SUV home the same afternoon. The entire process was painless and hassle free. More

I have always been thoroughly satisfied with the whole package from initial shopping to signing the paperwork. I will continue to shop this wonderful dealership for future purchases. George O'Sullivan has always been very attentive to every detail, from which color and package do you want to purchase to making sure you understand all of the features of your new tuck. Forest Durnil was very helpful assisting with current Ford incentive program information. Forest and George seem dedicated to selecting and delivering the right vehicle at the best price possible. Worst Purchase I've ever made Purchased 2016 F250 Platinum used, 25k miles. Within hour of drive time notice noises, popping, creaking in roof and door. Salesman ignored my Purchased 2016 F250 Platinum used, 25k miles. Within hour of drive time notice noises, popping, creaking in roof and door. Salesman ignored my email inquiries, contacted service, ran me through delay to get me a loaner car. Got the truck in to the shop... "A" pillar isn't completely welded they say. They say it's a factory error and covered by warranty. Few other items under warranty, driver side window guide and bad motor on driver side mirror. Warranty or no warranty, a defective weld on a frame I wanted nothing to do with because of safety and resale value, I wanted out of this truck. They offered me NO other options and told me it's a minor fix. Update: Picked up the truck today. Noticed some things on it after looking at it. Asked to speak with manager, he came to the truck and I said you know what was done to my truck, "yeah it's the one with some work on the roof." I made the comment yes the one with the defective or broken weld on the frame, he responded with a less than professional response of "well we don't know that for sure that was the case." Keep in mind they just "repaired" it... I continued to point out a scratch and a bend on the headliner where they took it out. As well pointed out the grease left on the rubber from where they reinstalled the rubber and a loose visor clip that they did not tighten. His response "well we cleaned it." At that point I realized I was working with some people with questionable integrity. Was so disgusted I just got in the truck and left. Surprised Ford approves of this practice. So here is the list of items they did not fix and issues they added. 1- Window/door rattle was not repaired but ticket says they replaced the window guide. 2- Sirius radio repair, ticket notes they couldn't replicate issue... I turned it on hit browse and it froze.... come on! 3- Visor clip - loose, imagine if they can't finish a job right what they do with what is covered up. Guess the local mechanic here in my town had it right when he said, once they take it apart they won't put it back together right. 4- Damaged the head liner in 2 spots. 5- Requested they send me a photo of the weld after they finished... I asked 3 different people... guess what, it was to much effort, never received. 6- noticed a dent on the driver said... gonna assume it was them to go along with their other actions. 7- truck had the worst burning smell like burnt rubber after I got it home... hope it goes away! Truck has a nice exterior, and within a week of buying I had many comments when I'm out and about... will make sure in the future everyone knows what to expect if they try going to this place and avoid if at all possible. Bought me a used $56k lemon (not by choice) and terrible customer service. More

For the most part, Thoroughbred has been pretty good. Loved my salesman both times I bought from Thoroughbred. I have ran into a few minor issues with service, but overall........ pretty happy. The main Loved my salesman both times I bought from Thoroughbred. I have ran into a few minor issues with service, but overall........ pretty happy. The main reason I will keep coming back to Thoroughbred is Eric Flickinger. He has always gone out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted and made sure we were happy. Great guy and does not pressure you. More
