Charles, I’d like to respectfully clarify a few important details regarding your father’s purchase. The truck in question is a 2007 model year vehicle — nearly 20 years old — and it was clearly disclosed and signed for as an “as-is” purchase, including multiple written acknowledgements confirming that no warranty was expressed or implied. It is also a modified vehicle, which was fully transparent during the sale. That said, even though the vehicle was purchased as-is, when the fuel gauge issue was brought to our attention, we provided a loaner vehicle and assisted with a minor repair at no charge as a gesture of goodwill — something we were not contractually obligated to do. We understand that older, modified vehicles can come with unpredictability, and that’s precisely why the as-is documentation is reviewed thoroughly at time of purchase. Our goal is always transparency. If there are still concerns, I’m happy to personally speak with you to review everything again. We stand behind the integrity of how this transaction was handled. – Sean McIntyre Tim’s Truck Capital & Auto Sales

I completely understand AS-IS however all knowledge you had on the defects of the vehicle ethically should have been disclosed and they were not. In response to a specific detail you mentioned below - “That said, even though the vehicle was purchased as-is, when the fuel gauge issue was brought to our attention, we provided a loaner vehicle and assisted with a minor repair at no charge as a gesture of goodwill — something we were not contractually obligated to do.” You do realize the Fuel Gauge issue was actually not “A Fuel Pressure Issue” that your mechanic mentioned or any mechanical defect for that matter. IT WAS JUST OUT OF GAS. Concerning that your mechanic did not pick up on that. Either way. What’s Done is Done. Lessons learned for everyone I suppose. Thanks for your detailed public response. Best, Charles

We take concerns like this very seriously, and I want to address a few things directly. First, we would never dismiss a customer’s concerns or “rub anything in anyone’s face.” That is not how we operate, and it certainly does not reflect our values as a company. If a vehicle has been in for multiple repairs, there would be detailed documentation of every visit, what was diagnosed, what was covered under warranty, and what was not. Warranty coverage decisions are made based on the contract terms and the warranty provider’s guidelines — not arbitrarily. At this time, we still do not have enough information publicly to identify the vehicle or review the service history. I would genuinely like the opportunity to pull the file, review everything thoroughly, and have a direct conversation to see what can be done. Please contact me directly at the dealership and ask for Sean, or send a private message with your full name and vehicle information so I can personally look into this. Our goal is always resolution, not conflict. — Sean McIntyre Tim’s Truck Capital & Auto Sales, Inc.

We're sorry that you didn't have a completely satisfying visit. Would it be possible to have someone from our management team reach out to you directly to discuss? We'd love the opportunity to address any issues with our team here. Thank you for your time, and hopefully, we can get to the bottom of this.

Feb 23, 2026 -

Tim's Truck Capital & Auto Sales, Inc. responded

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize if any part of your experience felt frustrating or unclear — that is never our intention. To clarify, the $100 deposit was fully refundable and simply intended to secure the vehicle while you discussed the decision with your wife. There was absolutely no obligation to proceed without your full comfort and understanding. Regarding financing, interest rates are determined by the lending institutions and are based on several factors including credit profile, term, and market conditions at the time of approval. We always review the final lender approval with our customers prior to signing to ensure transparency. If there was any confusion around the rate presented, we would absolutely like the opportunity to review that with you. We also apologize if you feel your follow-up call was not returned in a timely manner. That is not the level of communication we strive for. A member of our management team would truly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to review everything in detail and make this right. Please feel free to contact us at your convenience at (603) 736-8143, or let us know the best number and time to reach you. We value your business and the opportunity to improve. — Sean McIntyre Tim’s Truck Capital & Auto Sales, Inc.

Yes, I have been waiting for a response I am not buying the truck, yet the dealership has passed paperwork and I have a bank looking for a payment. I do not intend to pick up the truck as was told to Johnny who said I would get a call and have not. You have the truck and I do not intend to pick it up or make any payments Jeff 603-455-1607

Thank you, Noah, for providing this feedback, and we apologize for not providing you with an exceptional service experience. We never like seeing that our service didn't meet the standards customers have come to expect, but reviews like this help us improve. If you don't mind reaching out to us so that we can speak directly, we'd love to address your concerns in detail.

Feb 23, 2026 -

Tim's Truck Capital & Auto Sales, Inc. responded

Noah, thank you for your feedback. At the time of purchase, the vehicle was fully shown and inspected prior to delivery, and there were no concerns noted with the backseat at that time. In November, when the concern was later brought up, we offered to assist with the repair on a 50/50 cost split as a goodwill gesture. We remain willing to honor that offer and help coordinate the repair if you would still like to move forward. Please contact our service department directly so we can get something scheduled for you. We appreciate your business and are always happy to work toward a fair solution. — Sean McIntyre Tim’s Truck Capital & Auto Sales, Inc.
