Initially went in looking for a newer used Honda Fit, but after talking with Joe and him explaining to my family and I about the pricing difference being very minimal and getting more out of the warranty we decided to go with a brand new 2018 model. After deciding on going with the 2018 he thoroughly explained the safety features (which was my main concern) and that was the kicker on me purchasing this car. I wanted something reliable, not going to break my bank and most importantly protect my family. From the the start to finish Joe was able to answer any questions we had and explain in full detail anything about the cars we looked at. I definitely would recommend Joe to anyone looking to purchase a car at Tony Honda. Amazing service accompanied with a great experience. Thank you Joe for everything my family and I greatly appreciate the help you provided. More

We were not pressured which extended warranty level we wanted. Likewise with Valerie when she presented the accessories. Moi made us feel like family. He is generous with our discount. I dropped off my car for tinting etc. yesterday and service so far is good. I still have to pick up my car tomorrow and I expect the same professionalism from the service department. More
Excellent Service ALL THE TIME! I purchased my Honda Odyssey van in 2005 from Tony Honda in Waipio Gentry and absolutely love it! However, it's been 13 years since I purchased it an I purchased my Honda Odyssey van in 2005 from Tony Honda in Waipio Gentry and absolutely love it! However, it's been 13 years since I purchased it and I felt that it was time for a new vehicle. There was no doubt in my mind that my new vehicle would be a Honda because of the excellent service I received ALL THE TIME! I had previously written a letter to the owner Stan Masamitsu about the excellent service I received before but I'm not sure if he received it. I just wanted to let him know how pleased I was with his employees. Anyway, going back to my review........From the moment I take my vehicle in for service, I am always greeted with smiles and the workers are very courteous. They open the door of my vehicle and also open the door leading into the office (service area). During the first several years that I had my van, I used to make appintments through Service Writer (Marlon); however, when Marlon left Tony Honda, I started using John Vanhtha who was a new employee at that time. John is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Since I don't know much about vehicles, he takes the time to explain in detail and answers the many questions that I ask. There were a couple of times when John wasn't available, so other service writers such as Sean Kikuchi and Andrew Jameson helped me and treated me the same way. Even the ladies at the cashier department are friendly and helpful. Every single employee in the service department makes me feel like I'm part of their family. They are awesome!!!!!! Anyway, in February 2018, I finally leased a new Honda Pilot. The salesperson who assisted me was Jacob Amadeo. Jacob, too, was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the different Honda vehicles. After a couple of hours with him, we felt like we've known him for years. He made us feel very comfortable and didn't pressure us into buying or leasing. I don't like those "pushy" sales people. Upon leasing the vehicle, we purchased some accessories through Accessories Specialist, Ron Oya. He was very nice and funny. He made us laugh so much! Then, we were directed to see Curtis Matsumoto who is the Finance Manager. Curtis was friendly, too, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and was patient with all the questions that we asked. We were even greeted by Sales Manager, Moi Mabalot, who had also helped us in 2005 when we purchased our Odyssey. Moi was always friendly and courteous. He is an incredible Sales Manager. I also need to mention about the receptionist in the sales department as we first entered the sales room. I'm sorry that I didn't get her name but she was the one that was working in the late afternoon on February 27 when we picked up our vehicle. She was very friendly and all smiles. When my husband was looking for a new car in 2010, I told him to buy a Honda because of the service and how the employees treat their customers. He didn't listen to me and purchased a Toyota Camry. Well, in 2011, he experienced the accelerated pedal issue that Toyota was having. I'm not joking. He was in a parking lot and his car accelerated on its own....seriously!!!!! When that happened, I told him, "See......I told you to buy a Honda!!!!!" Anyway, I don't want to get into details about that, but long story short...they changed something in the computer of the vehicle and it hasn't happened again so far....thank goodness. Anyway, thank you, Tony Honda for providing excellent service. Your employees are totally amazing and have always made me feel like family! They all should be recognized and rewarded! More

David Diaz was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful without being pushy at all. He gave us the space to try several cars on multiple visits and gave us quality time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. David also gave us lots of great advice to guide our decision and help things go smoothly and easily. And knowing we were in a rush to get someplace afterwards, he went out of his way to help move the process along once we made a final decision. It was an enjoyable experience and we ended up with a car we love that we originally weren’t even considering, and at a great deal! It’s so refreshing to work with a salesman that genuinely cares and we feel we can trust. More

TONY HONDA WAIPIO IS AWESOME! I purchased a 2018 Honda Accord Sport & my salesperson was Jacob Amadeo. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I normally don’t like salespeopl I purchased a 2018 Honda Accord Sport & my salesperson was Jacob Amadeo. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I normally don’t like salespeople because I automatically think they are over aggressive, but Jacob was far from that. I felt as if we had been friends for years & all the staff at Tony Honda Waipio made me feel welcome and were so helpful! I am very very happy with my Honda Pilot! Because of her, our family has purchased 3 cars from your location and will continue to return in the future. I always recommend her to all my business and family friends. She is the best sales person in my book. Nothing fake about her. She is the real deal! Service - I took in my Pilot in for 3750 mile maintenance. I did not realize that they have a courtesy shuttle that will take you anywhere on Oahu should you need a ride back home or to work once you drop off your vehicle. AND they come back to pick you up! Living in Kaimuki, it was a blessing. Thank you for the friendly service at initial check-in with Natasha (she communicated quickly with me via text when I had questions, safe driving with Jodi and an efficient check-out with Melissa at the cashier. Being a front desk manager myself, I was impressed by all members of the team sincerely caring about my car and my time. Everyone looks happy to be working there, you can feel it in the air.
