Seeking a new and reliable vehicle to replace my family car. We (wife and I) were looking for a replacement family car. When mentioning to David Pagan that I would be looking at different model cars and different makes, he recommended I talk to Matt Chong. Good advice and best choice we made. We felt very comfortable talking to Matt, as if we'd known him for years. He took the time to show us around the different models that I wanted to see and answered all or our questions confidently, and we felt, truthfully too. In negotiating a deal, we felt he advocated for us and behaved professionally throughout. We're very satisfied that we got a good deal. David's a real nice and low-key service person whom we will be dealing with from now on. He exudes humility and I feel confident that we will continue to receive good service from Tony Honda. More
Gunnar is amazing! A few months ago I was in Tony Honda getting my Honda Element serviced and just randomly looking at vehicles parked in the waiting room when I met Gun A few months ago I was in Tony Honda getting my Honda Element serviced and just randomly looking at vehicles parked in the waiting room when I met Gunnar. I knew I was not going to be buying a car that day and didn't know when I ever would be, but was just curious about the models on the lot. Gunnar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable taking well over 30 minutes, showing me the ins and outs of the vehicles, pulling seats out and working up a sweat even though he knew I wasn't going to be purchasing. He left such an impression on me I left thinking about the various models he showed me. Months passed and I continued to do my research and returned to the lot a few times to just browse models and my interactions with different sales people were completely different. I was given misinformation about models and granted I am an avid researcher, often times I felt like I knew more about the vehicle than a couple of the sales reps and left feeling overall unimpressed and dissuaded in buying a new vehicle. I knew the vehicle I wanted which was a Honda Pilot, Touring model, however I am relatively young and a surfer and was treated in the sense that they didn't think I could actually afford one. A sales rep at Pacific Honda asked me what car I was currently driving and when I mentioned a Honda Element said under his breath, "big step" and never even returned my call. I researched the car prices of the pilot touring model nationally and had spoken to quite a few dealerships. After so many lack luster experiences I kept thinking about Gunnar and how great my interactions had been with him. I was going to have a 2017 Pilot, Touring, built for me and decided to give Gunnar a call back. He was so helpful and helped me to see and encouraged me to research, that what I thought I had to have in the 2017 model wasn't at all dire and I was able to save a ton of money getting the 2016 model. Just over the phone he got me a smoking deal (way better than comparative dealerships and other sales reps on the same dealership) and I decided to purchase the vehicle without even test driving it because I was that confident in Gunnar! Closing the sale in the dealership was extremely pleasant with Gunnar and when we actually sat in the vehicle to go over the ins and outs (we hadn't looked at the pilot prior) he was so knowledgeable and informative. I would highly recommend working with him!!! I felt I had a personal experience and know that if I ever return to buy another car I'd like to go to him and send all my friends to him!!! More

Josh in the service department has always taken great care of us, communicating well, fitting us in where he could and always servicing it in a timely manner. So when it finally came time to purchasing a brand new van, we went to Tony Honda and trusted him to refer us to someone who could help. Dustin helped us in finding our new 2016 Odyssey and cared for us from the moment we walked in. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in, as well as other models and their features. We were sure we wanted an Odyssey, but the test drive and all the questions he answered during, had us sold on the Odyssey Elite. The process was relatively fast! We had other things to take care of that day before we could actually take the van home, and Dustin was there at the end of the day to deliver the van to us, even took the time to walk us through in syncing some of the newer Bluetooth and phone elements that we were not familiar with at all. Also gave us a direct line so that we could contact him with any concerns. Valerie was also helpful in showing us and helping us decide what extras we could add into the van. John answered a lot of questions we had as well, and was very friendly. We appreciated the kindness and patience of everyone we came into contact with at Tony Honda! More

Honda Purchase Overall I am not very pleased with the purchase experience. Jay Lapella was a very good salesman. He was patient, knowledgeable and he was not pushy. I did my research prior to visiting the dealership, so I knew exactly what I wanted to see. It would have been helpful if the sales representatives had a list of the current inventory with them for quick reference. I found we wasted quite a bit of time walking around the lot looking for the vehicle. 2. Although the vehicle was listed at one price on the internet, the sales manager sent an initial purchase order which was much higher than the advertised priced. When I asked the salesman why, he said that he was not sure, it may be that he was required to show the original suggested retail price. I did not appreciate this. If you advertise a particular price that should be the only price presented at the start of the negotiation. I then had to bring up the internet price to show the salesman in order for him to go back to the sales manager to adjust. This seemed a bit “shady “and unprofessional. 3. Lastly – the vehicle I wanted was not fully processed into the dealer inventory. As a result, I was not able to take possession of the vehicle that same day. In fact, it’s been almost a week and I still do not have the vehicle nor has anyone contacted me to give me an update. This does not reflect well – it seems that there should have been some system in place to allow the sales personnel to know that the vehicle was not ready for delivery. I was not told until I had signed most of the paperwork. My family and I had planned to use the vehicle for veterans’ day weekend, additionally we arranged to donate our old vehicle to the church, but are unable to do so because we do not have the new one as yet and that has caused much inconveniences as they had made plans thinking they would have the vehicle. More
