Garrett is really doing his all back there, he is killing it. I brought my car in and he moved my car from the front and brought it towards the service area, and he noticed a problem that I never really caug it. I brought my car in and he moved my car from the front and brought it towards the service area, and he noticed a problem that I never really caught, turns out my brakes were shaking in the backside. He helped me out, offered me great pricing, and had my work done within 2 hours, despite a very busy schedule it seemed they had. He made sure refreshments were available, the TV was showing something good, and I walked out feeling confident in the store. I WILL be back to work with Garrett again, he is remarkable and he cares greatly about me and any other customer and it shows. :) More

When I first entered the service dept. on July 1st at 9:30 - even though there were employees behind the counter they didn’t acknowledge me but just walked away. Then a gentleman with an iPad asked me the same question – I pointed out where my car was and as the car was under warranty, he said I could leave. I did receive a Service Estimate by email and it stated my car would be ready by 5pm. Mid-afternoon when I didn’t hear anything from Alfano Hyundai in Torrington, CT, I tried calling service a few times and it went into voicemail. Then I called Sales and they were able to get the Service Dept. to answer my call. This is not the first time this has happened. I was then told that they had ordered a wrong part and the car was not ready and wouldn’t be until the next day. I was never notified by Service of any delay on their part. It would have been nice if someone in service had taken the time to let me know of the problem as this delay resulted in me having to re-adjust my whole schedule. I had left a voice mail suggesting it might be nice on their part because of the inconvenience they caused me to possibly detail the car. Of course, that didn’t happen. The previous staff in the service department was much better than what you have now. The current staff just don’t seem to care about the customer. I would suggest hiring more people that care for the customer. When I have been there before to pick up my car it would be brought to the door. Had the Service gentleman done this, they would have seen that because it was all closed up in 100+degrees, that the car was very hot inside and you couldn’t use the steering wheel because it was so hot. You can contact me to discuss this terrible service. I will not be returning to this dealership unless something happens to my car while under warranty nor will I recommend Alfano Hyundai to any of my friends. More
Garrett made sure that my vehicle was inspected thoroughly and with extreme care. Him and the technician (whom I later found out was named "Woody", he came outside and shook my hand) made sure my c thoroughly and with extreme care. One week on and there are no concerns and the money I spent for the additional services I was sold was well spent. I'll say this with a true heart: KEEP GARRETT THERE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, HE IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET. And if he reads this, tell him I'll bring those donuts I promised him next time I go there. More
