Hello. Please do not use names and my name is not Tamika by the way. If you need a name, you can call me personally and I will be happy to give you a piece of my mind. Danny, Tee and Daniel, you really should be ashamed of yourselves. Buyer beware of that vehicle. Your salesperson, Tee stated “All Toyotas leak oil, while several people heard this conversation on speakerphone. He did not even deny that it was leaking oil!!!! Several people turned down that vehicle prior to my wife and Danny and Tee had lies behind that. Plus, Tee’s response, “well go buy a new one if you don’t like it,” frankly was disrespectful. Guess what we did. Bought a brand new one - Platinum, from Hoffman- everyone reading this review, go to Hoffman or Acura of Avon and be treated with dignity and respect. Run from Torrington Toyota and their crooked tactics.

Hello Tamika, we appreciate your interest in the 2022 Toyota Highlander, which only has just over 11,000 miles on it. This SUV was one of our trusted loaner cars that has regularly gone through servicing and maintenance as needed. The vehicle is also covered under the 3 year/36K limited warranty, a 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty. As you requested, you were able to take this Highlander to a trusted mechanic, in which they had supposedly stated there were several issues, the brake pads were low and the front differential was leaking. When you brought up these concerns, we got the vehicle on the lift and had a factory trained technician inspect these concerns. We change brake pads and tires on used vehicles when they start wearing to a certain low point, for example, brakes we change if they are under 5mm. The technician determined the front pads were at 8mm, the rear pads were at 9mm. There was wasn't any issue to address there, the brakes were in excellent condition. The technician also inspected the differential and determined the front differential was not in fact leaking, so we then closed the case. We had no intentions of being rude at all, but there wasn't anything to fix on the vehicle, as all issues were checked and cleared. Since you were still concerned, we did not want you to purchase a vehicle that you were not 100% happy with. This has nothing to do with being a "woman on your own", as we have many women who come in and happily purchase vehicles with no issues, for years, We apologize for any misunderstanding and inconveniences that occurred.
