Jake did everything right! he was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He "qualified the customer, made a personal connection, got us in the car, pointed out features of the car and worked a fair price wi knowledgeable. The process, however of "aftersale" took entirely too long ( 2hours). In spite of our willingness to give an earnest money deposit and complete the deal the following workday, the process was unacceptably long. Had it not been completed when it was, we would have walked away. We arived at the dealership at 11 am and left after 5. Jake continued to check on us and try to hasten the process. Although I come from an automotive sales family and understand the importance of the end of the month sale and respect how busy your dealership was that day , your finance department could have cost your fine salesman a sale and in terms of your overall dealership that is not something you want to do. Addi tonally, because he was considerate enough to check on our well being , numerous times, I wonder if he lost additional sales opportunities that day- and sales that would contribute to the month end quota. finally, during that time , you did not offer any compensation for the inordinate amount of time that the process took. If in the future , you find yourself causing your customers long delays in their car buying process, you should have a game plan for compensation to them- complimentary cookies, sandwiches, coupons for oil changes - something to show your appreciation for their time- a whole Sat. in our case. More
We have been dealing with Joe Ippolito and Towne Hyundai for 15 years. We only buy Hyundais and only deal with Joe. Just wanted to voice my concerns and how disappointed I am with this dealership (Towne Hyundai). Brought in my car to have the wheel balanced and upon completion, the car drive worse the when I brought it am with this dealership (Towne Hyundai). Call to inform the dealership of the issue and was told that the car was serviced as the receipt indicated. Took the car to another dealer and were promptly serviced and positive results, was also told by the other technician that the wheels were never balanced properly. Shame on your servicing department for charging me without performing the work. More
My husband and I were looking to purchase a 2012 Hyundai Elantra back in March. We’d had very bad experiences at Global Hyundai, Lynnes Hyundai, and Sansone’s Route 1 Hyundai, and found the courteous and re Elantra back in March. We’d had very bad experiences at Global Hyundai, Lynnes Hyundai, and Sansone’s Route 1 Hyundai, and found the courteous and respectful manner in which Joe Ippolito and his staff treated us refreshing. Joe is radically unlike any other car salesperson we’ve met, and we realize now that the sales culture at Towne Hyundai is very different from that at other car dealerships. Having purchased our first Hyundai Elantra, we were interested in a second one in a different, hard-to-find color. Joe procured a 2013 Hyundai Elantra for us from Pennsylvania in record time, without charging us any dealer network fees, and at a price that would be impossible to beat, going by the information available at Kelley Blue Book, Edmunds, TRUECar, and so on. Joe went well out of his way — literally and figuratively — to get us the second car, for which we are extremely grateful. Need a Hyundai? Please DO NOT go to any other car dealership. It would just be a waste of time!!! More
Salesperson Fred Onorato's outstanding support was instrumental in my purchase of a new Santa Fe from Towne Hyundai.He informed me immediately when a vehicle with my preferred color came in a day afte instrumental in my purchase of a new Santa Fe from Towne Hyundai.He informed me immediately when a vehicle with my preferred color came in a day after my initial visit,he then had it prepped/cleaned and set aside for me. Subsequently,he was extremely patient with my then indecision as to new or used, color, model etc. We reviewed all options and he even priced out a used Santa Fe for comparison. He was upfront about the total costs involved for both vehicles. I finally decided on the initial Santa Fe he has set aside and he ensured the necessary paperwork etc was completed and I drove the car home that same day. Again, outstanding service on Freds part.
