Terrible experience I went to Toyota World of Newton today to look for a new vehicle. As I first entered the store it was impossible to find someone to speak to regardin I went to Toyota World of Newton today to look for a new vehicle. As I first entered the store it was impossible to find someone to speak to regarding information about a vehicle I found in their lot. Finally I approached the secretary and she stated someone would help me within a few minutes. After waiting, I finally had the chance to speak to a sales representative. I explained that I purchased my car from this exact dealership a few years prior and how happy I was with my decision. I was now looking to trade in my used corolla for a new rav4. The sales representative asked me numerous times what information I was looking for. He explained since "it is too cold to go outside and look at the car I had questions about, that we could look inside at a showcase model instead." I said ok, we looked at the car and then sat at a table to discuss numbers. Once my car was appraised, the sales manager came to speak with me. He told me that my car was appraised at a good value but the payment I wanted on a new car was impossible to do. After I explained numerous times I did not want a lease he kept giving me information about how I should get a lease and how miles don't matter. He said if I took a lease the payment would be what I wanted- $240/mo. He went back into the "box" and made adjustments. He then came back out and said well, you can lease this car for $340 a month with $1200 down. One, I said I didn't want a lease. Second, I explained I did not want to put money down since I would be trading in a car. He said if I would finance the car it would be $470/mo. I said this doesn't work for me. He shook my hand and said ok thanks and walked away. As a sales manager, he did not try at all to discuss different options OR even to think about providing me with different car choices. I am a young woman and I feel like this dealership was trying to make me feel like a fool. As I was leaving I received a phone call from their facility about "you will get a gift-card just for walking in." Well.. I went to the secretary and she told me someone would be able to help me about that. A man approached me and said "ok ok what's the problem?! You want a giftcard? Here put your email down here and we will send it to you, hopefully by Christmas...maybe we will send you two." As he chuckled when saying it. This dealership is very unprofessional and I regret going back to try and find a newer car. When I was there a few years prior, it was NOT like this. The lack of management professionalism and friendliness is appalling. I will NOT be using Toyota ever again especially this dealership. Go somewhere else! More

I thought I couldn't afford a Camry and was going to buy a Corolla and Greg said there a better programs on the Camry which offered 0% finacing on the Camry and the Corolla was 1.9% and the rebates made it work better with the Camry . I was so excited that I got the car I wanted and the price I wanted . Greg made my day . I would recommend this dealership and it's the nicest dealership that I ever been too .. Other dealerships in the area make you feel very pressured, but Charlie was extremely personable and professional. He was very genuine and seemed to care more about finding me a great vehicle that was priced just right rather than just making a sale off of me and getting me out the door, which I experienced before at other dealerships. I've had my RAV4 for about a month and it is by my far my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I have already recommended this dealership to friends and coworkers looking for cars, and I will continue to do so. More
