I recently had the pleasure of working with Brian McGrath and the Toyota of Braintree team in purchasing my Scion XD. I don't think this comments box could possibly sum up how impressed I was with my experience. Going into buying the car search and going in and out of different dealerships, I wasn't overly excited about the process of deciding on a new car. That is, until I stepped into Toyota of Braintree. I am a huge believer in customer service making or breaking the deal - across the board. Toyota of Braintree has customer service mastered - far beyond my expectations, to be honest. Every employee we encountered was friendly (not pushy or salesy, just genuinely pleasant), informative and very professional. Although we didn't make a decision to buy the car on our first visit, my husband and I both knew immediately that we would be purchasing a car from this dealer. After my first visit, I received a follow-up message from Brian McGrath just thanking me for my time and offering to answer any additional questions. When I came back the following weekend, I was actually greeted initially by another employee, Mike Hankes, who surprisingly knew who I was and which car I was coming to look at! Again, it was a simple thing - but just another sign that they had their act together! After we made our decision to purchase, the entire process went incredibly smoothly. Bill Detellis walked us through our options for accessories (I ended up going with the security alarm/remote car starter package). I appreciated Bill's style because he came across as very honest and knowledgeable. Arthur Martel was wonderful to work with as well - he took care of all of our paperwork on the finance side of things. Although they didn't have the color I wanted in the store, there were able to track it down in less than 2 days. And, since I was having difficulties figuring out how to pick the car up from the dealership logistically, Brian kindly delivered the car directly to my home. I must add one more time that Brian McGrath was fantastic to work with and I will absolutely be recommending him to anyone I know who's in the market for a car. Not only does Brian have tremendous customer service skills, but he's also mastered the art of "selling without selling", which is a tricky combination to find. More

Working with Sam was a great experience. He was extremely helpful and was great with customer service. I am happy we were set up to work with Sam on my purchase. I was able to tell him about the car I had and how I wanted something very similar. He took us right up to all the cars and started to explain what he thought I would like best. His first suggestion was the car I ended up buying. I liked that he was not pushy at all and truly tried to figure out what I would really like. So far I absolutely love the car I have and am excited to continue to work with this dealership. I would suggest Sam to anyone I know that is purchasing a car. More

Bob is a great guy, very friendly and honest. He looked out for me for cars and prices and made sure i had a car i could afford. He called me immediately about one car and then found another one that i wou out for me for cars and prices and made sure i had a car i could afford. He called me immediately about one car and then found another one that i would possibly like. He worked hard to make sure i got a good car and that i wouldn't get a car i couldn't afford. My mother and i didn't know about bob until my mother saw a letter a satisfied customer had written to him. That letter inspired my mother to have me us do business with him, and i'm very glad we did. I recommend bob to everyone, he is a very nice guy and cares very much about what he does. More
On Saturday April 14, 2012, I brought my 2011 Camry into Tufankjian Toyota in Braintree for a 20K scheduled maintenance as well as an alignment . The service advisor was great. When I returned home, I inspected the car and realized that the tires were not rotated as I hit a curb recently and have a noticeable scratch on the front right rim. The tire that was damaged from the curb was still on the original right front rim. I called Tufankjian Toyota and was put on hold then directed to Nicole Terhune's voicemail. She called me back after she spoke with the technician (Sam B) who insisted that he rotated my tires. Nicole offered me a free rotation if I went back that same day however due to my weekend schedule I was not able to return to the dealership after having left the car with them for half of the day. Upon further reviewing the paper work I feel that this was a case of negligence on the technician's part. Having brought my car to other dealerships in the past for alignment services I recall receiving paperwork which provides details of the service. The printout sheet usually lays out the difference in degrees if the alignment was off balance (camber and toe) as well as the final degree after the adjustment. In this particular instance there was no documentation of any alignment services and if there was no documentation how would the technician know that an alignment was required. Furthermore I am doubtful that a technician will go out of their way to remove the tires from all the rims and remount them back and then balance them. Unfortunately this was not the first incident with Tufankjian Toyota. I brought my 2009 Toyota Venza in for a simple oil change. The technician forgot to tighten the drain nut and there was a pool of oil on my driveway. This issue could have been easily avoidable if the technician double checked their own work. The plan was to use this car to drive out of state and luckily my dad saw the pool of oil and told me. I called the service manager and he offered me a free oil change on my next schedule. I thought this was just an oversight on an oil change so I was satisfied with how the manager handled this first incident. For this most recent incident, it was a case of plain laziness and poor customer service. Perhaps the technician thought it was okay to "skip a step" or maybe Sam thought the customer was a female and figured I would not know if the tires were rotated. What frustrates me the most is that their multi-point inspection has the tread depth measurement. If you measure this Toyota Camry correctly the front two tread depths are noticeably lower than the back two, which is why I needed the rotation. For those who may read this reference and still choose to go to this dealership or perhaps have no choice, I would like to offer some words of advice when dealing with Tufankjian Toyota of Braintree 1. Make chalk marks on the four tires so you know that the technician has rotated tires correctly. 2. Make sure there is a alignment printout when there was an alignment performed. 3. Make sure to check oil if an oil change has been performed (new oil should be gold color - not brown) 4. Make sure you ask them to double check their work and especially have them check the drain plug is tightened (not really tight - they might run a risk in stripping the plug) More

As the negotiations moved forward, there was no fast talk and every number was explained to my satisfaction and every question answered openly. Once a my deal was made and the financing process began, John Celesk guided me through the process with ease. I expected this step to be stressful and daunting. I was very pleasantly surprised that it was not. I felt confident in my deal and positive about the entire experience. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car especially Gail and John. More
