Toyota of N Austin recently took over from Charles Mande and will not honor the lifetime alignment contract Charles Mande made with me. Shows lack of customer loyalty. I will take my remaining non-Toyota co and will not honor the lifetime alignment contract Charles Mande made with me. Shows lack of customer loyalty. I will take my remaining non-Toyota contract maintenance to Tech One, they appreciate their customers. To be fair, this dealer performs the service work well, albeit a bit slowly (1.5 hours for an alignment and over two hrs previously for an oil change). More
Very disappointed in the shuttle service, and the actual vehicle service. Communication was very poor, both services took unexpectedly long when told otherwise. The salesman that I dealt with was flaky and did not follow through on getting back to me when he said he would. Was going to purchase a new truck and wait on it to be delivered but instead went to the follow through on getting back to me when he said he would. Was going to purchase a new truck and wait on it to be delivered but instead went to the dealership to test drive one because I was looking at a used truck at another dealer. I went in and asked for a test drive. My sales rep said ok and then disappeared for over 30 minutes before I was handed off to someone else. And instead of test driving a new one he took me to a used one. I liked the used truck and decided to purchase. But I also asked for the damaged bumper to be fixed as part of the agreement. The salesman said just bring it on Monday morning and they would get it done. On the way home we realized it was missing a passenger said floor mat which isn’t that big a deal but you think that small attention to detail would be important. I brought the truck in Monday morning and I was nowhere in the system. This was the second time by the way. When I gave my credit card information for the deposit on the new truck the sales rep didn’t run it or enter it in the system. Matt the service guy was amazing and tried to help since the salesman had dropped the ball. The salesman made this whole experience terrible. I tend to be loyal to my dealership if they take care of me but he has made it virtually impossible for me to look to buy here again. More
I made the appointment with an estimate of 1 hour of labor when I called to make the appointment and ordered the parts myself ahead of time from Zach. Unfortunately I was told after dropping it off that it would take 2.5 hours of labor, more than double the cost, and that this is the “standard time” to replace two oxygen sensors. They were VERY rude when I inquired about all of their recommended repairs and declined service, one female employee even called me a “bruja” (witch) talking to another employee when I was picking up my car. They also claimed that two tire sensors were “missing”, if you don’t know tire sensors are INSIDE a tire so they cannot just fall out or go missing without a large hole being in the tire. Not to mention I had taken it to a mechanic one week earlier for a diagnosis and had all 4 sensors, we just knew one or more were defective but they were THERE. This place tries to take advantage of you at every turn and don’t stick by any of their promises. I don’t know if they saw a young woman or do this to everyone. I went somewhere else in Austin and had the service done for a fraction of the price in under an hour. Especially disappointed because my family has exclusively bought Toyota’s and now as a young adult female I will not continue this tradition! More
