Made an online inquiry on a used vehicle that had just come in the night before. It was priced at $6,488. An hour later I showed up for an appointment to test drive and was given a Carfax and buyer's sh come in the night before. It was priced at $6,488. An hour later I showed up for an appointment to test drive and was given a Carfax and buyer's sheet with the sale price with tax, title, and fees, including a "mandatory" GPS fee of $499. I had to run to make a medical appointment and said I would be back in the afternoon to show my wife and purchase. When I finally had a chance to review the buyers order, I noticed the vehicle was price at $7,884. I immediately looked online, and it was priced at $6,888. I called the salesperson and inquired about the sudden price increase and texted him a screen shot of the $6,888 price. He called me back after checking with the used car sales manager and stated the price increase was due to a "market change". A 19.4% price increase transpired in two hours. I bought my first at this dealership in 1994. And I've had half a dozen vehicles serviced there, including two current Toyotas. This greedy group just lost my 30+ years of business. Shopper beware!!!!! More
