This is the second time I have the same advisor, I believe his name is Lucky, he has very good customer service, and follows up when my vehicle is ready. believe his name is Lucky, he has very good customer service, and follows up when my vehicle is ready. More
Spent about a week discussing a new car purchase with not only two people, one of which was Mr. Brady. Received some confusing guidance since the first person said the $500 deposit was refundable... but only two people, one of which was Mr. Brady. Received some confusing guidance since the first person said the $500 deposit was refundable... but the second said it was not. I also expressed my concern with putting down a $500 non-refundable deposit without some official paperwork or documentation... Mr. Brady said they didn't work like that and his email chain is enough documentation. Really wasn't making me feel good about giving them my money, was worried the price would change down the line since it could take up to 4 months to find my vehicle... but i decided to proceed anyways. Mr. Brady at that point informed me that he didn't realize I was in San Antonio and they only sell vehicles to locals in Austin so they have a chance at getting the consumer's business for any services the vehicle needs in the future. So great... I've told other dealerships I no longer require their services and now I need to do the walk of shame back to them. Also ,I started this process to hopefully get my name on the wait-list for a vehicle early... but dealing with Toyota of North Austin has now put me a week behind and wasted my time and effort. If you know you only do business with locals, you should probably make sure you are dealing with a local at the very start. You should probably also contact the various apps that point consumers towards your dealership and do whatever it takes to avoid non-Austin residents from finding you. More
