Service Department Staff I had an appointment for my car due to hearing a very loud rattling noise. I was told that the exhaust was loose and was tightened. I paid the $54 fee for the service and picked my car up. 2 days later the noise was back and I called for another appointment. Upon arrival to drop my car off I retold the service person what had happened. When she read the notes on my file she said that is not what was found last time. She told me that the computer said they were unable to recreate the sound. I got a completely different story told to me on the phone and paid for the service charge. I told her that it was not what I was told and if they didn’t hear the sound they didn’t turn on the car. She said I could leave and they would see if they could find it. I told her I was not leaving until someone listened to the noise. Someone listened and told me 10 minutes later the skin on my muffler was loose and I would need a new one. I was extremely disappointed in the misinformation I was given and sent home with. Only to come back and be told something else. Then they tried to pass me off and send me home without hearing the noise again. I asked for a price and she told me she would get back to me with a price. She never called. Needless to say, my car is being fixed but a reputable and trustable home town mechanic. I will NOT be coming back. More
