I have mixed emotions about my buying experience. I submitted a request for an internet quote for a vehicle. I received an immediate response on the first vehicle. When I responded with a request for a price on the same model vehicle with different options I was ignored. I submitted the request several times and was ignored. I did a chat and finally received an answer that the vehicle was sold. It wasn't until I actually made an appointment that I received a quote for the vehicle that I was interested in. I do not have alot of spare time to be wandering around a dealership. I wanted to do all of my research and price negotiating over the internet prior to setting foot in the dealership. The lack of attention and response to my email requests made it really difficult to purchase a vehicle this way. The salesman that I dealt once I visited the dealership was professional and addressed issues that I had after taking delivery of the vehicle promptly. My main reason for buying from this dealership is because of it's location, which is near my home. If I had extra time on my hands to visit other dealerships, I probably would not have purchased my vehicle from this dealership. More
Entering Toyota of Scranton was an overall pleasant experience for me. James assisted me in test driving the vehicle I ended up purchasing and worked with me until the sale was complete. I was so very grateful for the help I received this past week at Toyota due the extraordinary circumstances in my life at that time. I had just had my 2010 Corolla totaled after putting in such an effort to week at Toyota due the extraordinary circumstances in my life at that time. I had just had my 2010 Corolla totaled after putting in such an effort to get the loan paid off and enjoy my golden years without a car payment hanging over my head, being on social security and having 8 grandchildren, this was not easy but I had only 1400.00 left to pay when it was totaled. I had also recently been told that my beloved brother, who is only a year older than I, and who suffers from Alzheimer's, had taken a turn for the worse and was not expected to last the week. Entering the dealership, I was prepared to do battle with any sales professional who came my way. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff took an extraordinary interest in me and my situation and were only so happy to help. Each person at the dealership took the time to make me feel welcome and coo over my little grandson. Purchased used car 8/24/13. On the way home check engine light came on. Got in touch with dealer. Was told someone would call me, no one ever called. I live 2 hours away. Didn't know what to do so took the light came on. Got in touch with dealer. Was told someone would call me, no one ever called. I live 2 hours away. Didn't know what to do so took the car to the Ford dealer. It is now on its second trip to the garage. As of now the Ford mechanics drove it more then me. It is upsetting they were very nice when I was buying the car.The dealership is big and a miscommunication happened. As of this time not sure if I would ever go back or not. More

Taryn was wonderful, very helpful and we got just what we wanted. The only negative was that I felt pressured by the finance guy to purchase the extra packages, even after saying no. Everything was great until time to take possession of our new car. It was less than perfect. Appearance of scratches and other blemishes that made the car look "used" sent the car back, not once, but twice. new car. It was less than perfect. Also noticed later that same day, water stains on the interior cloth of the passenger Right shoulder and the right side portion of the back seat. 61 miles on the car instead of the "6" miles as stated by finance, was questioned and assured to be accurate per "in the system", could be perceived as being deceitful. As you can imagine, this has left us a bit disappointed in the service department. We were very satisfied with Michael, and if it was not for the negative out the door experience, we would rate our overall experience as great. Thank you, Ruthann V & Robert J Jones More
