I was able to shop, trade in my old car, and drive my new car home all in one day thanks to Doug Stahl. Doug is a great listener, honest and friendly. He worked very hard to give me options and pricing on car home all in one day thanks to Doug Stahl. Doug is a great listener, honest and friendly. He worked very hard to give me options and pricing on both a new and used Prius. He is very patient and explained everything very well. He spent a considerable amount of time with me and was never over-bearing or pushy at all. This was the BEST car buying experience I have had in decades!!! More
I had a very easygoing and painless experience purchasing a new vehicle, Rav 4, last week. Communication and cooperation were instrumental in finalizing the deal. The financing department was very helpful, and able to give us a great rate, and explained the various options we had as far as warranties and such. Lots of vehicles, helpful employees and great personal service from Billy, and we loved it! Highly recommended by us--we are very much satisfied customers. More
My clutch went out during a road trip on July 4 when everything was closed. Luckily, I was near Scranton when it happened (I could have been much further away, which would have been awful!). A major rep everything was closed. Luckily, I was near Scranton when it happened (I could have been much further away, which would have been awful!). A major repair like this will never come cheap, but I had to continue my trip and leave my poor car with the dealership until they could fix it. While it was extraordinarily expensive once I combined the cost of towing (even with AAA), the cost of taxis, the cost of rental cars, and the cost of the actual repairs, when I evaluated and discussed the bill with my family, we determined that the cost of the parts and labor were likely relatively fair. There is a premium for dealership repairs, but if you don't know someone, you have to go to a dealership because you have no other choice. However, you can be sure they will fix it. After all, I am not in the business of repairing cars. My car is making strange noises when I turn the wheel--and I believe I have pinpointed the problem as being my wheel well which pops in and out (hopefully)--and it may have resulted from the work the dealership did--but overall, my car is running fine. The piece of mind alone was extremely valuable. I had to trust a company with the keys to my broken car. This is not a position anyone ever wants to be in, but it happens. There is a lot of trust that goes into the relationship between customer and mechanic. I was lucky to be close enough to a dealership to fix this problem. I don't live in Scranton, so I likely won't be back, but if I did live there, I would definitely go back. More
Service person was courteous and friendly. From questions I asked it was obvious he has a lot of experience and is knowledge about the Toyota Camry and maintenance the Camry needs. The maintenance I wanted I asked it was obvious he has a lot of experience and is knowledge about the Toyota Camry and maintenance the Camry needs. The maintenance I wanted done was finished in a reasonable amount of time and the price was about what I expected the price to be. More
Billy was just phenomenal! From the second I walked in he did his absolute best to get me the car I wanted. He was funny, personable, honest and gave the impression that he really enjoyed what he does. Even did his absolute best to get me the car I wanted. He was funny, personable, honest and gave the impression that he really enjoyed what he does. Even when I couldn't quite afford the car I wanted, he never pressured us into another car, instead he gave me the facts and let me know the differences between the two. When I settled on my corolla he seemed just as excited as I was! From start to finish he was just an absolute peach and I look forward to getting another car from him in three years! I mean come on, who offers their personal cell number so I can call or text what COLOR I want, on his day off, with his family?! He didn't have to do that, but he just went above and beyond in helping me lease my first new car. Thanks! Give this guy a raise! More
The service I get at Toyota of Scranton is always first class. The salesman I bought the car from, Carl jenkins, was fair and honest. The dealings I have had with Mary Jo Y. always made me feel like I was class. The salesman I bought the car from, Carl jenkins, was fair and honest. The dealings I have had with Mary Jo Y. always made me feel like I was an important customer when I went to your dealership. My only complaint has to do with my Avalon's coils going bad. I had 2 go bad within a year and had the others replaced before they went bad stranding me somewhere on the road. I contacted toyota regarding this...they said they knew of no problems with the coils. I opened up a claim with them at that time. I have since when on independent blogs citing the coils going bad on the Avalons often..starting at 40,000 miles and most going bad at 100,000 miles. I will be buying a new car in March/April of next year and the coils problems have me concerned. Concerned enough to be looking at Impalas, Tauras., Cadenzas and Azeras. I realize your dealership has nothing to do with that problem...it shoud be addressed by Toyota. Thank you, ALLAN FERDYN. More
