This is our first service at Toyota of Tampa Bay. We lived in Land O Lakes so we normally go to Wesley Chapel Toyota but now live in Carrollwood so your place is more convenient. The video that we were sent from the tech advised that we needed an alignment "to correct the pulling", even thought we just had one done at our last service and Orlando confirmed that the computer shows it. There is NO pulling! The tech also advised that we need front breaks at our next service, but the paperwork report we were given shows all breaks are in the GREEN zone and the car has only 39K miles on it. There were several other things that the video stated we needed as well, all adding up to around $2,500!!!!!!! When we dropped the car off, I was given paperwork to sign with the charges. It did not show the $49.99 oil change after 1pm which is the reason I scheduled the oil change in the first place. My appointment was at 1pm. Orlando said he wasn't aware of that special. I requested that he write my total on the paperwork that I signed at drop off but when I came to pick the car up, the bill was much higher even though I didn't authorize and additional services. When reviewing the itemized bill, there was around $25 in add on charges. I asked Orlando what they were and he said its for towels. We have absolutely no confidence in the trustworthiness of this dealership. I addressed all of this with Orlando and he stated it would be addressed as it should not have happened. Hopefully he brought it to managements attention to prevent another customer from experiencing what we did. Again, we will not be back! More
The customer service was terrible. Brought the car in only to get a tire with a nail changed and specifically told them to call me when the car was done because i left it there. dude c Brought the car in only to get a tire with a nail changed and specifically told them to call me when the car was done because i left it there. dude calls me telling me everything else that’s wrong with the car and is like “we close in 2 minutes you can’t come get the car”. making me miss work the next day and just created a bunch of inconveniences. I have been doing business with Toyota of Tampa Bay since 2005. I have NEVER, EVER been to any other dealership, after market vehicle shop for tires , maintenance, repairs etc. I have become legally blind in the past 4 years.. I miss my driving my Highlander Limited Platform and will be selling it 😢. I will continue to recommend Toyota of Tampa Bay AND will stop by to see those that have treated me wjth the utmost kindness, respect, attention to details wjth ny concerns and questions.
