From the moment I arrived, I could tell this dealership was different. The showroom is beautifully designed and welcoming. One of the most memorable features was two impressive sculptures made entirely from automobile parts. I learned they were created by the U.S. Marines to support fallen soldiers, and the dealership owner purchased them to support that charitable cause. That small detail spoke volumes about the values of the dealership. The buying process itself was smooth, transparent, and completely stress-free. There were no games or unnecessary pressure—just honest, professional service from start to finish. What really impressed me was the level of customer service. Since I live nearly two hours away in New York, the dealership actually sent a driver to pick me up, even in the middle of a rainstorm. That level of commitment is something you rarely see today. Before I drove off, my salesperson, Shay patiently helped set up the entire vehicle with my phone, making sure everything—from Bluetooth to Apple CarPlay and the Toyota app—was fully configured and working. It was clear they wanted me to leave completely comfortable with my new vehicle. Buying a car can often be stressful, but this experience was the exact opposite. I went to trade in my Highlander for a Sienna. We needed more room. I went to another dealer closer to my home (where I bought the Highlander 4 years ago) but we were not reaching the agreed price We needed more room. I went to another dealer closer to my home (where I bought the Highlander 4 years ago) but we were not reaching the agreed price and they didn’t even have the color I wanted…When I saw that Toyota of Wallingford had the exact trim and color sienna my wife and I wanted. So I drove an hour to take a look. The receptionist hooked me up with Mark and I was glad she did. I am almost 50 years old and this was the 10th car I’ve bought since I was driving. It was the best experience out of all of the cars I’ve bought. Mark worked with me to meet me on an agreed price.. when we came back the next day it was a holiday weekend. My insurance company was closed! However, mark kept dialing numbers until he got someone to answer and switch our insurance from our Highlander to our new Sienna, so we could drive it home that day and not wait until after the holiday weekend. The whole experience with Mark and Toyota of Wallingford was incredible. I only buy Toyotas so I will be returning to Toyota of Wallingford and looking for Mark when the time comes to replace our older car. More
